Excellent.

Eastleigh is always a good laugh and a trip to Barnet should be fun. £12 is a bit of a rip off though.

especially when you have to add a £3 booking fee if tickets are sold in advance!!

I don't know that looks about the cut of the prices these days, I remember pre season in our Total Football football days, half the team played Basingstoke town the other Salisbury(?). Basingstoke Town charged £15 for adults and £7.50 for kids. So £12 if you are going to see 1st team players not the dribs and drabs we saw that day seems reasonable by comparison.

The first thing coming to me is that I'm hoping that this pre-season will be one where we will beat lower quality opposition with some style, and that I don't have to hear some pillock (like Stewart Henderson last year and Portvliet the year before that, and Burley and....) trying to say that the results don't matter.

On this I'm on the same page as AP. The winning habit matters every time!

Seem to recall the second game was at Winchester City (not that it matters).

first thing that came to my mind, is'nt he out of contract though?

he's only 23 though so we'd have to pay a tribunal fee. Good spot though and a good chance its true. Hope so as he's one of the 5 players I picked on the earlier thread to complete my `title winning squad'.

I completely agree, I remember playing LMA I always picked the sh*ttest teams for friendlies to ensure I got my morale as high as possible.

I went past the Camrose last night, and the board at the front says Next Fixture - Vs - Southampton 11. Didn't have a date or KO time next to it though. I know it wont be a Saints first 11, but might go along and give the youngsters some support whenever it is.
