doubleonothing Posted 1 June, 2010 Share Posted 1 June, 2010 Barnet and Eastleigh http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2062726,00.html
Andy_Porter Posted 1 June, 2010 Share Posted 1 June, 2010 Excellent. Eastleigh is always a good laugh and a trip to Barnet should be fun. £12 is a bit of a rip off though.
stevegrant Posted 1 June, 2010 Share Posted 1 June, 2010 Happy with the Barnet game, I've not been to Underhill before so that's one I can tick off the list.
Andy_Porter Posted 1 June, 2010 Share Posted 1 June, 2010 A bit stupid to play Eastleigh on a Monday though, usually our first pre season of the season. Playing it a week before the season starts is a bit pointless, I guess it will be one of those Saints XI games.
RedAndWhite91 Posted 1 June, 2010 Share Posted 1 June, 2010 I'm happy with Barnet cos that means a London p*ss up is on the cards.
Bourno Posted 1 June, 2010 Share Posted 1 June, 2010 Excellent. Eastleigh is always a good laugh and a trip to Barnet should be fun. £12 is a bit of a rip off though. especially when you have to add a £3 booking fee if tickets are sold in advance!! John Boy Saint Posted 1 June, 2010 Share Posted 1 June, 2010 Excellent. Eastleigh is always a good laugh and a trip to Barnet should be fun. £12 is a bit of a rip off though. I don't know that looks about the cut of the prices these days, I remember pre season in our Total Football football days, half the team played Basingstoke town the other Salisbury(?). Basingstoke Town charged £15 for adults and £7.50 for kids. So £12 if you are going to see 1st team players not the dribs and drabs we saw that day seems reasonable by comparison. Master Bates Posted 1 June, 2010 Share Posted 1 June, 2010 http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2062726,00.html As it says on the tin. How quaint, I beat them (Barnet) 10-0 yesterday on Fifa 10 DS, beating my previous record of 9-0 against Gillingham a few months ago.

Tac-tics Posted 1 June, 2010 Share Posted 1 June, 2010 Barnet friendly part of a deal for Albert Adomah first thing that came to my mind, is'nt he out of contract though?
Clifford Nelson Posted 1 June, 2010 Share Posted 1 June, 2010 The first thing coming to me is that I'm hoping that this pre-season will be one where we will beat lower quality opposition with some style, and that I don't have to hear some pillock (like Stewart Henderson last year and Portvliet the year before that, and Burley and....) trying to say that the results don't matter. On this I'm on the same page as AP. The winning habit matters every time!

Seem to recall the second game was at Winchester City (not that it matters).
Chez Posted 1 June, 2010 Share Posted 1 June, 2010 first thing that came to my mind, is'nt he out of contract though? he's only 23 though so we'd have to pay a tribunal fee. Good spot though and a good chance its true. Hope so as he's one of the 5 players I picked on the earlier thread to complete my `title winning squad'. I completely agree, I remember playing LMA I always picked the sh*ttest teams for friendlies to ensure I got my morale as high as possible. I went past the Camrose last night, and the board at the front says Next Fixture - Vs - Southampton 11. Didn't have a date or KO time next to it though. I know it wont be a Saints first 11, but might go along and give the youngsters some support whenever it is.
red&white56 Posted 5 June, 2010 Share Posted 5 June, 2010 Barnet have us, Watford, Peterborough, Arsenal and Charlton as thier pre-season friendlies - a pretty impressive line up!
