two out of the four.

I know they are rumours from this forum but if you had to choose 2 from the 4 who would they be?

Danns

Lines

Jackson

Tyson.

IMHO we won't sign any of them because Cortese & Pardew won't leak anything but I would love Danns and Tyson although Tyson's attitude scares me.

These four players are the sort that would gel and take us through the championship.

However I feel we need an old head on the park other than Wotton because they help teams unite to get out of problems.

Huddersfield have just signed Lee Carsley which I think is good business.

A Robbie Savage, Lee Hendrie or a Matt Oakley would do us fine.

A brilliant signing for them that will keep them challenging next season. I totally agree with you that we need an old head in Midfield. Normally I would say don't go bak but Matt Oakley would be ideal now Carsley has gone elsewhere! Hendrie is a good shout too.

I'd like both Jackson for pace and Lines to compete with Morgan and Dean and also Simon Francis as back-up to FR and our centre-backs. If we signed all three, I don't think within reason that the squad could get much better than that for L1 and indeed it would be better than most in the NPC.

Of those mentioned Danns is more of a 'proven' mf player, whilst Lines is still in the 'potential' category.

If given as an option in mf then Stock might get my vote.

Upfront,I'm indifferent to Jackson, and possibly even underwhelmed by Tyson.Reading the Forest forum last might there seemed a number of comments about him having lost his pace, often considered his main attribute, and as Pilchards mentions there is a question over his attitude.

The old head, Oakley fits the bill after his promotion successes at Derby and Leicester.Savage probably carries too much 'history' and Hendrie has not proven his value at offering experience whilst out on loan.Be happy to be proved wrong though.
