EBS1980 Posted 14 February, 2011 Share Posted 14 February, 2011 I read in the paper this weekend that it was Ashley Young. Man U hope to beat Liverpool to signing him in the summer.

Saint_clark Posted 14 February, 2011 Share Posted 14 February, 2011 Maybe. Maybe not. The only two we know for certain who made an offer are Arsenal and Liverpool.

Ivan Katalinic's 'tache Posted 14 February, 2011 Share Posted 14 February, 2011 It was Pulis. Turned them down to do a loan stint at Barnet. When he realised the f**k up he'd made, he kicked some fella during the game and was sent off.
Bailey Posted 14 February, 2011 Share Posted 14 February, 2011 I don't think Sir Alex would say something like this in the press if his target was a League One player. If he's saying this to the media, I expect it's a bigger name than AOC. Wouldn't surprise me if he was a target for United in the summer however. Dan Johnson Posted 15 February, 2011 Share Posted 15 February, 2011 It`s Gareth Bale. I told a utd supporting friend when Bale first pulled on a Saints shirt that he'd eventually replace giggs at Utd and I think it would be a great move for him, he deserves to play for a big big club, no offense to tottenham, but he's better than that
