Orange Posted 25 March, 2013 Share Posted 25 March, 2013 How hard can it be to say what our allocation is, 2,000 i think?
JRM Posted 25 March, 2013 Share Posted 25 March, 2013 How hard can it be to say what our allocation is, 2,000 i think? I know that should be a basic bit of info when releasing ticket details.
Saint Garrett Posted 25 March, 2013 Author Share Posted 25 March, 2013 It is strange that an allocation isn't announced. It's not like it matters to the club?
Orange Posted 25 March, 2013 Share Posted 25 March, 2013 Makes it even more difficult to judge wether to wait for general sale.
cryoman1965 Posted 1 April, 2013 Share Posted 1 April, 2013 The club recently introduced a policy of no more than 4 tickets per transaction but there is no note of that in the advert posted the OP. Is this no longer the case or is it now policy. Ta Nige

" Not according to your website." Cue frantic computer activity behind that big board, followed by, "We will let you have 5 this time as it was left out by mistake." I reminded them that this rule was the most stupid one they had come out with, despite serious competition over the past few years. I will have to pick people up from work on Wednesday lunchtime, so as we can all stand together and buy our 12 tickets for Swansea. Laughable. oldsarum Posted 3 April, 2013 Share Posted 3 April, 2013 Get them online, you can get as many as you want. I liked to know how, as I'm restricted to 4 and had to go in twice on two different members accounts to get 7 tickets

I agree - how pathetic and no business justification seemingly given either. If I was Cortese and I read this I'd be over-turning it straight away. These days, travelling up from the South West I don't tend to buy tickets in those type of numbers but a few years ago when I lived in Hants 8-10 of us regularly went to away games together and sat together after a few pints in the away pub and we would have been furious if some jumped up twonk had made some bureaucratic nonsense rule up like that. There were some strange rules in Luker's time but even he would have thought this was too daft to implement!
This Charming Man Posted 3 April, 2013 Share Posted 3 April, 2013 I liked to know how, as I'm restricted to 4 and had to go in twice on two different members accounts to get 7 tickets Think that's only when tickets are on general sale for away games do they allow as many as you want. I really have no idea why it's restricted to 4 per transaction. If you have 8 season ticket numbers, all eligible for tickets, what on earth is the problem?! It seems they're determined to make buying away tickets as hard as possible - though are more than happy to Facebook/Tweet about our "fantastic" support. On the upside I can buy 3 Swansea tickets on my season ticket.
LGTL Posted 3 April, 2013 Share Posted 3 April, 2013 Just got 5 Swansea tickets online in one transaction, although all 5 numbers had 5 or more always on them. It does seem different for each person. The online system has improved throughout the season but it can still be a bit of a farce.
Dan Posted 3 April, 2013 Share Posted 3 April, 2013 Bloke at the TO said we had been given over 2000 tickets, which is the maximum allocation at Swansea.
