Ziggy Posted 3 September, 2015 Share Posted 3 September, 2015 Get in! We are almost there and it's all down to Bale! What a player! Didn't think I'd ever see us at a big competition but I'm daring to dream!

bazza Posted 4 September, 2015 Share Posted 4 September, 2015 They've done well. Looked like a good support in Cyprus last night too. I hope we don't cock it up against the Faroes tonight.

norwaysaint Posted 4 September, 2015 Share Posted 4 September, 2015 Well done (hopefully) to Wales. Welsh saints fans may now get the chance of being disappointed by their country as well as their club in a major cup competition.

simo Posted 4 September, 2015 Share Posted 4 September, 2015 I don't know many English people who don't like seeing the other home nations do well so it's a shame they all hate us haha!

Crab Lungs Posted 6 September, 2015 Share Posted 6 September, 2015 It's been great watching NI, Wales and to a lesser extent, the Republic and a slightly resurgent Scotland. It's a shame they hate us but then again, I hate the England team too. And the manager. So f()ck it, gives me more teams to take an interest in if/when they qualify for the finals. Wales squad now is mightily impressive now, it has be said. Kudos to Coleman, too.
norwaysaint Posted 6 September, 2015 Share Posted 6 September, 2015 I think it's surprising anyone can't see why many people from Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland are happy to see England do badly. I also find it surprising when English people want the smaller countries to fail because of it. It all seems pretty normal and easy to understand for me. We are the big brother who bosses the others around and always gets his way, of course they want to see us slip up and look silly once in a while. Similarly it would be a bit pathetic for that big brother to side against his smaller brothers. I always root for Wales, Scotland and both Irelands, but don't expect them to do the same for us. To me it's a similar situation with Bournemouth over the years. Slightly less so while their results can affect us though.
