Considering the other option was a geriatric guy that barely knew what day of the week it was I’m not sure there was any winner in that poll. Was the equivalent of only having the choice of whether to be punched in the balls or kicked in them. A bigger indictment on America and its politics was how the how did we ever get to a situation where those two were the candidates for the role of “most powerful man in the world”. Whilst I get that, the (other) geriatric wasn't a crook or obvious loon. Trump was always a car crash in waiting. That much should have been obvious to the Americans. 4

In 2016 the Democrat candidate was Hilary Clinton, and this thread was started in 2018. The poll was added for the 2020 election, so Americans had already had four years (and the evidence of how he dealt with the Covid pandemic) to work out what a total disaster Trump was. 4

badgerx16 Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago (edited) Interesting discussions taking place about the future of the Supreme Court; there is talk that arch conservatives Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas want to retire, and the Dems could also revive proposals to increase the number of Justices on the SC bench to 13, which taken together could create a possible 6 vacancies.
