Just got back from the Game

Wow what a game. Awful first half, where Norwich dominated. Our main weakness seemed to be the full backs who defence wise just are not good enough. Cracking second goal from Norwich, but we needed to have tighter marking

The second half we got back more into it and scored. Why or why did Saga not start!!!! Was our best player other with Size and Mclaggon (who also from that performance should have started). Saga showed skill, pace and determination which we lacked from the first half, and I think he was the main reason we managed to get a draw. Even McGoldrick looked alot better with Saga playing, I just didn't understand the reason for not playing him!

Another point I thought the Norwich support was pretty woeful, and there were many times we put them to shame.

Shame we couldn't knick the win (espeically with all those results going against us), but hopefully that passion shown in the second half will carry on into the Swansea game.

You defend from the front - Saga is stronger - McG is too weak on his own to do this job properly. Its simple stuff, but our tWotte might not recognise this yet.

also just back from the game. we nicked it second half - cant remember having many chances though. that said, cant remember them creating very much either at the time of the goals.

we were shaky on the wings, especially on the left hand side (molynieux) with lee croft a constant threat. our best players were perry and size with saga and mclaggon doing well when they came on. think lallana still has more to offer (still looks to be returning from injury), so that can only be a good thing.

Wotte's substitutions were well-timed and decisive (ok holmes was enforced). saga's touch still looked a bit rusty but he gave us real presence and worked well with DMG. Still think the midfield is a weakspot- wotton nor gillett gave us a bit more cover - but not much and that was offset by their poor retention and movement. Would like to see Euell given a go in midfield with Surman. He's shown he can do the combative stuff. Thus:

Davis

Molynieux-Size-Perry-James

Lallana-Surman-Euell-McLaggon

Saga-Dmg

Our support was OK - one or two slight divisions between those calling for Lowe out at 2-1 down, just when we were getting back into the game and those who were focussed on the match.

I really hope that the fans give the team and management the benefit of the doubt at the start of the Swansea game. See how the game develops and adjust reactions accordingly by all means but lets have a bit of patience before the wave protests. Isnt Wotte looking to play the formation/players we've been calling for? Given the constraints, is there anything more he can do.

Shows the team have some fight in them, lets hope they can get that 2nd home win on Saturday. An away point is always useful. If we can get some home wins under the belt we will move up the league soon enough.

Lets hope Wotte has pinpointed the weak areas from this game and will work on them this week.

I made the schoolboy error of parking in a multi storey, didn't get out of Norwich until 10.45, home by 2.

First half was a disgrace we were absolutely rubbish.

Saga was great, the passion he showed after scoring was awesome (though got him booked).

I thought that our support was rubbish, yes we had an awful position at the side and had less than 400, but we were quiet and a number of idiots were more concerned with hurling abuse at rival fans and stewards. A few got escorted out when deciding to fight with stewards...morons.

That's because we're pants, not knickers!

Recall Dyer. Lallana isn't fit yet to play on the right and Holmes is injured.

Not sure from reports if Molyneux is good enough or sufficiently match fit for RB, but can't think who else could do the job there.

Good post but i wonder what the Donny fans would have made of our support at SMS! After the team went behind.

Just got back.

Good away day, spent the day in Norwich, most of it in the whiskey shop.

It really was a game of 2 halves.

First half was one of the worst, lacklustre, woeful performances I have ever seen.

The most passes we managed to string together was about 3.

The players didn't seem at all interested.

Second half was completely different.

Grit, determination and pride were all clearly visible.

Good substitutions were a factor.

Saw some proper passion from our players after Saga's goal which was refreshing.

Our fans were pretty good I thought, considering the low numbers.

Norwich fans were sh1te.
