Sergei Gotsmanov Posted 30 January, 2009 Author Share Posted 30 January, 2009 All correct apart from Mathew Harding got Matty to sign an autograph as the players marched off the pitch and then pretended that he had signed a contract raising the signed paper to the Chelsea fans Wenger compared Matty to Platini
Rational Rich Posted 30 January, 2009 Share Posted 30 January, 2009 I'm sure the sweets were cola flavoured, a bit mushy round the edges and rock hard in the middle. Maybe that was just the east stand upper. Talking of which, anyone else remember the bloke who played OWTS on northumbrian pipes in the East Stand Upper Centre? Imagine he would be barred from bringing them into SMS these days.

jonah Posted 30 January, 2009 Share Posted 30 January, 2009 So was I! Live in Newcastle so used a mates Season Ticket and went in the home end. I was there with 2 others too in the Gallogate end (one was studying in Newcastle at the time and had queued up to get tickets)... very hard to remain silent when the free-kick went in! It was funny to hear the players celebrating in a completely silent ground, they all sounded more squeaky than Alan Ball :-) Great set of questions!
