spyinthesky Posted Thursday at 11:07 Posted Thursday at 11:07 Up until recently, we were the only club, as far as I am aware, who used the tune as their main song to support the team. Spurs then latched onto it and slowed down the delivery, which we followed, to replace their 'Glory, Glory Tottenham Hotspur ditty. It now seems that many teams have now latched onto the song, as Boro did on Tuesday, with quite a few Spurs fans thinking it is 'Their' song!! Perhaps we should complain to the EFL about copyright infringement to negate the 'Spygate' nonsense?? 1
Disco Stu Posted Thursday at 21:45 Posted Thursday at 21:45 (edited) I wish we sang the fast version like we used to. A couple of renditions of the slow version and then it peters out with clapping at 300 BPM. Edited Thursday at 21:48 by Disco Stu 3
Zorba Posted Friday at 00:18 Posted Friday at 00:18 It should be our YNWA but it’s over used and gets boring very quickly, just like that shit pompey song. We haven’t had much to sing about lately but our repertoire of songs is very limited and generally pretty awful.

North London yobboes.

Was great when we used to sing the fast version for a long period at away games. We did have a 15 minute run of it at Swansea but only about 30-50 people did it constantly with others coming in and out. The slow version is a dirge and should only be sung a couple of times a game. 1
EssEffCee Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago As for other clubs singing it while it does feel like more do than they used to there are other clubs who've sung it for years. Liverpool and Stoke are 2 which come to mind. Never recall Spurs singing it before our 2005 relegation.
Shufty Zubrik Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago For a big stadium like Wembley it has to be slow to resonate. The fast version, albeit fun, won’t trouble the microphones. 1
