Hi guys. Do any of you know if membership renewal is open yet as mine ran out on the 3rd July but the website doesn't offer me a renewal option yet. Unless I'm looking in the wrong place! Cheers.

Yes, I asked the same question last week on the season ticket thread.   Someone replied and said in a couple of weeks so it should be very soon.

So I bought membership plus for myself and my child.

However, I can't get his complementary ticket to work. Anyone else having this issue?

I think only the adult membership plus has the two free tickets. The kids ones have selected £5 games instead.

Select a seat and then change it to ‘ membership plus complimentary’on the drop down menu where it says adult membership priority and the cost. Should change to free.

Yeah, so it worked for me but not for my son's junior plus seat which is linked to my account.

Went to the ticket office and they couldn't help as I've bought the tickets now.

I was just about to purchase the plus for myself and the nipper, combining it with say Pompey and Boro games looked quite good value. I read it as though the child also gets the two free games?

You get a voucher. Says it should come the month after you purchase your membership so hoping it comes in the next couple of weeks.

Anyone else got a membership plus but now had an email saying they don't qualify to buy a ticket for the Skates at home game?

Me and my son both got membership plus, and have used the 2 "free" games that come as part of the deal to get tickets for the Stoke game and also the Boro game. However it looks like Saints are treating it that we haven't purchased a ticket for a game this season yet, as they are seen as complimentary and part of the membership plus package.

Unless I missed it, this was not stated anywhere and surely paying the £95 for a membership plus which comes with 2 games, is a purchase history for this season?

Not seen that. I specifically called and asked as I was going to use it for Pompey and Boro for me and my son. They said any game counted.

I dont think Pompey game can be used for one of the free ones, as its a category A+.

My issue is that I have already used the 2 complimentary tickets that come with the £90 membership plus for Stoke and Boro game, but Saints dont seem to view that as purchasing a match ticket this season, which is needed in order to buy a Pompey ticket.

Only Saints could end up with a ticketing system where a standard member gets a higher priority than a membership "plus".

I had the same problem, had to ring up and they did it on the phone.

Hmmmm, I have membership plus but have already bought a ticket for the Stoke game without using one of my ‘freebies’ as the cost of said ticket was £30, so having ‘plus’ was of no real benefit.

I was therefore a bit surprised to receive an email this morning saying that to qualify for the opening ticket purchase window for Pompey I had to buy a ticket for another 2026/27 home game (seemingly ignoring the fact I already have).
 

All very confusing and makes me think there is some yet to be published small print for the Membership Plus scheme which actually makes the whole thing a waste of time.

Complete shambles. Found the Middlesbrough one in the end, and got that complimentary ticket but wouldn’t allow me to get my lads (who is also a member plus) complimentary, so had to pay for him.

I had the same issue for Stoke. Shambles if they haven't fixed it.

 

I went down to the stadium and they said ring up next time to book together without offering to use up his free ticket. Without saying anything on whether it was an issue or not.

If you're a member plus with kids you'll end up going to 4 games instead of 2.

I wonder if anyone else still has this issue.

That was my thinking. It does say when you push the click 'here' button on that email that to meet the 2026/27 third criteria you will have had eight opportunties to have bought tickets for other matches so the Stoke game must count.

When in doubt, call them. I've always found them pretty useful.

Feels like they are making it up as they go along because there has been no pre announced  price structure for the category matches

I noticed that Bolton at home is a cat B game. 🤣

Can't imagine any weekend fixtures being Cat C if they think Bolton at home is a Cat B.

As a member with purchase history and having bought a ticket for the Bolton home match I'm eligible for a Skates ticket but the match isn't listed on the ticket page. Is it just going to appear at 9.30?

Got the ticket now, but again can’t be used as one of the eligible games. Despite being told yesterday and previously you could.

Was pleasantly surprised, but it all worked fine for me and my son. We have membership plus and so far have booked tickets for Stoke and Boro using the "complimentary ones". It let us buy Skates tickets fine.

Yeah, I asked about this as in previous seasons they had listed what category each home game would be at the start of the season, and I thought this would be useful when deciding what games to use the "comp" tickets for in the membership plus.

They said they now decide the category when they announce ticket details for each game, so i suppose this approach will mean they have flexibility especially towards the end of season. If we are in the promotion race then expect every game to be Cat A, but if its dead rubbers then they will be Cat C / Kids for a fiver etc.

The main value i can see for the membership plus is that you can use it for more expensive seats/areas for the ground. We often sit in the wings, but for Comp games we have gone more central in seats which would normally be alot more.

Interesting, when I did it for Stoke, there was no option for my son. Unless they haven't linked his membership properly.

Yeah, they marketed it as the free games for any Category A, B or C game, implying it would cover any game, but they then give Pompey game its own category of A+

I’ve bought tickets for me and my son (Kingsland @ £45 each), but at no point did I see a switch/button that would have enabled me to use one of the ‘Plus’ tickets. I’m not doubting you, would just like to know for future reference (and to help others in a similar position).

Try logging out and back in again- works sometimes.

I had tickets in my basket- it then told me they had gone- but when I added two others, the original ones (which were better) were still there so I bought the first ones I had selected.  No idea why that happened but hope they haven't double sold them!

You cant use the Membership plus ticket for Pompey, they have been really sly with this, advertised the complimentary tickets as any Catergory A, B or C game, but Pompey is A+ catergory and therefore not eligble even tho last season it was Catergory A. It has pissed me off, I will use the free tickets for other games anyway and would have brought the Membership Plus even if I knew Pompey was not eligible but its just the way they've gone about it to increase sales. They should have made it clear that I would not include Pompey.

It was a category A + last season as well.
