I've got to say, for all the criticism the club has got in recent years (and rightly so), they got it spot on yesterday.

Shithousery from early on, throughout and at the end which got the best out of the crowd and the players. Mark Dennis on the mic, 'The visitors', trying to rile up Ebou Adams every chance they got, the Liquidator, showing the table on the screen at the end.

Off you fuck back down the road.

When James Beattie is on the DJ decks at the end of it all you know you've had a good day.

Think it's possible some refs might have given red, but don't think the yellow he decided on would have caused VAR to intervene as a clear and obvious error if it was in use.

VAR would definitely have had a look. All the official needs to do is suggest that it was serious foul play. Which it could definitely have been interpreted as.  Fair to say there’s every chance we got away with one. I’ve watched it back, it’s a silly challenge and his only mitigation is that he doesn’t full on whack the guy studs up, despite going through his legs with both feet.

Fuck VAR anyway.

Maybe, but there is a lot of context around it that can’t be ignored.

The context being it was on a skate cunt and should be allowed because we want them injured?

Yep, like the Skate defender who just went through Scienza 1st half after he passed....and the ref played advantage before it hit him. 😅

It's funny how them lot foaming about Azaz (it was a red in my view) never mention that Devlin should have got a second yellow for fouling Azaz late on when the ball had already gone.

No, because he had just been fouled, which could have led to a second yellow, and that the ref was very soft on them all afternoon in terms of cards.. so yes, as I said, possibly a red card, but in the overall context pompey were not hard done by.

Ebou Adams committed at least 4 yellow card offences worse than anything Bragg did. He was by far the dirtiest player on the pitch. It was inevitable that he would be involved in Bragg's sending off.  He's as irritating as Cucurella but commits more fouls.

I'm surprised that it hardly got mentioned by the media that he scored the equaliser in the last derby at Fratton Park with his hand.

Still trying to work out why the ref gave Pompey a free kick for the first half bundle in their penalty area involving Flynn and you could clearly see him say to the ref, 'what's that for?' because he did nothing.

Their big burly centre back flopped to the floor with no touch at all. Thats why.
