OldNick Posted 16 March, 2009 Share Posted 16 March, 2009 Just a little snippet i heard. Against Derby Killer kicked a bottle of water in anger and it flew past Clough onto the pitch. He went and started whining to the 4th official about it and wanted Killer to be sent to the stands.Lol , Clough was given a bit of stick about that from the coaching staff etc.

The Saturday Boy Posted 16 March, 2009 Share Posted 16 March, 2009 Yep, he did. He kicked it in frustration after the ref gave a decision against us. The bottle went across the ground past Clough and ended up just next to Gary Crosby, who then proceeded to whine like a ***** to the fourth official about it. ottery st mary Posted 16 March, 2009 Share Posted 16 March, 2009 It sums up The Saints up..Any other coaching staff would have hit their target...I blame Rupert and his training methods.

Perhaps Gary Crosby headed the bottle out of Killers hand and kicked it into our dugout?

saint_ed Posted 16 March, 2009 Share Posted 16 March, 2009 Yeah I remember seeing that. Shame our defenders couldn't put their foot through the ball and get it clear like that.

TBF our defence has been pretty good recently (only 3 conceded in the last six games) it's the lack of scoring goals in some of those games which has been the problem. Clough was generally being a **** and the next thing a water bottle went hurtling in his direction from the direction of the Saints bench. He was already giving the 4th official loads of grief and shouting at the ball-boy before this happened. Seemed like a bit of a **** really. Mind you, I would do the same if I was a manager. Ergo, I may be a ****, I suppose, or maybe managers are ****s, or maybe people who aren't always ****s can act like a **** under pressure. Poll?
