It's a pure lucky dip unless you're at the track or you are ITK enough and have been told which dogs have been nobbled (usually they're fed/given milk/kicked in the ****** just before the race). A good tip if you're at the track is to have a good look at which dog is scratching the most to get out - it has a fair chance of winning.
