Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 3 April, 2009 Share Posted 3 April, 2009 From the Facebook Group, re atmosphere. This one from an Adam Goddard: just a last minute thought, does anyone know anyone who can play the trumpet??? a band or trumpet playing oh when the saints would really ring home tomorow, they could play outside the stadium and inside, would be pretty kick ass, and dont think its ever happened down SMS, they do it at the england games so cant see why instruments would be banned, surely someone must know a trumpeter or someone with one of those drums that can be carried??? make it happen!*
Gingeletiss Posted 3 April, 2009 Share Posted 3 April, 2009 Because IMHO, we don't want that bl**dy row at St Mary's, anyway, I think instruments are banned........I might be wrong.
stevegrant Posted 3 April, 2009 Share Posted 3 April, 2009 The England band are pretty much universally hated. We're more than capable of creating an atmosphere without adding a band; for that reason, I'm out.
St.Thomas7 Posted 3 April, 2009 Share Posted 3 April, 2009 I really could be wrong... but I'm fairly sure instruments are banned. Can't ever remember any away teams turning up with any... even that Westwood c**t didn't bring that f**king bell with him back in the good ol' days ;-)

No Lowe to stop people enjoying themselves in SMS now. Don't tell Charlton though, or else they'll bring their drum, lol.
DT Posted 3 April, 2009 Share Posted 3 April, 2009 I thought you were going to say the trumpeter should play the last post. Was with you until then.
Scummer Posted 3 April, 2009 Share Posted 3 April, 2009 A band outside might be a good idea though.

londonsaint1604 Posted 3 April, 2009 Share Posted 3 April, 2009 I think they kicked a few out at least because they made such a fuss.
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 3 April, 2009 Author Share Posted 3 April, 2009 He just wanted to see the reaction. Obviously not great. But outside the ground it may be a good idea.
