... bad news (nothing happening)?

... good news (happening but no one on here knows about it)?

... good news (something happening, people on here know about it but aren't saying to protect sources etc.)

Nothing today. No gossip, no rumours, no boats in the dock, no arabs in a taxi.

All very quiet. Why? (PM me if you're ITK!)

I'm not ITK, but I can definately rule Paul Allen out.

I was moored next to Octopus for the last few days in Cannes. Lots of coming and going from his yatch, but that probably has more to do with the film festival. I did look out for Fry, but alas he was not to be seen. Octopus then moved out to sea (some mile or so from shore). Not sure if my obsessive use of the binoculars had something to do with that.

Oh well, back to Blighty.

I would imagine now the wages deadline has been resolved, that the immediate pressure is off.........and generally people get hacked off when a deadline is set and moved........means that could happen again and again........so the general misery gets strung out for longer.............and I suppose its the nature of this situation that many deals are struck at the very last minute..............so I'm afraid its a few more days if not weeks of not knowing........and frankly being unable to prepare anything for next season
