  1. £30 seems like a pretty normal price to me for a playoff semi final. Some people just like to moan for the sake of it.
  2. We'll see but considering they've been on sale less than a week and also the staggered sales block by block it didn't look bad to me. I had to go for block 44 as I need another couple of tickets when general sale comes. You want some matchday tickets available there too. I would be surprised if it's not full most weeks.
  3. When I went to buy mine earlier there were very few spaces left available in blocks 40-43, so looks like it's already proving very popular.
  4. This is true, and in fact the Brighton fans are already turning on De Zerbi. Unless you're one of the rich elite clubs then you'll always have to accept that any relative success will likely be short lived and there will be plenty of hard times too. Just take the rough with the smooth (even the 'rough' this season has been highly enjoyable imo). I also don't think we'll be as bad as some think in the Championship next season. Even with the departures we should have a core of decent Championship standard players, hopefully we can make some shrewd additions. Plus the teams coming down from the PL will be a lot weaker this time, I don't see any obvious candidate running away with it next season.
  5. Indeed, but football is full of ifs and buts. Let's go and have a cracking promotion party at Wembley instead.
  6. If we win this and then beat Stoke at the weekend, we will be above Ipswich by the time they next play. Just saying. 😉
  7. I'm sure Russ will take flak from the usual suspects but today wasn't on him. For most of that game we played well and created a shit load of chances. Some of those misses were inexplicable but sum up our season. A fit and firing Stewart (or competent alternative) who actually puts away the easy chances, and we'd be going up automatically imo.
  8. In many ways the injury to Stu was worse than the result. He looked distraught, I'm gutted for him and also for us as he'll be a big miss in the playoffs.
  9. You can never please everyone so some people will moan, and there are some legit concerns, but I applaud the club for making these changes which should have been done a long time ago. Almost every proper stadium has a proper vocal home end, the fact that we are finally getting one and it will be all standing is exciting. However it's the fans that will make it work or not so I hope it gets good buy-in. I will be relocating from Kingsland North. With the whole Northam singing we should be able to make good noise reverberate around the stadium. I often hear those in the Chapel say they can only hear the away fans. The cheaper tickets and standing should appeal to the younger and more energetic fans which has to be good for the future. It's a like for like basis so the same number. Main difference is that there's a rail in front of each row.
  10. C'mon lads, one last big push and who knows what's possible, let's at least make the top 3 sweat a bit. The fans need to do their bit tonight, no moaning or negativity especially if we go behind. Let's get right behind them from the off. Winning is all that matters now, doesn't matter how. COYR
  11. Safe standing/rail seating still has seats, so they can still sit down if they wish.
  12. The scenes after that winning goal were epic, never seen anything like it at SMS! Still don't think we'll get top 2 but if you can't enjoy moments like that then football's not for you. Keeps the season alive, what a crazy league this is!
  13. Reading that thread, I had to remind myself that with 4 games to go they are top of the league. It's as bad as this place. A lot of football fans really are entitled morons.
  14. Eh? Aribo was brilliant tonight, clear MOTM. THB was good though.
