I think you’ve missed the point a bit here. He’s been available all summer but at some stage the player himself has to actually sign the contract and the point here is he hasn’t wanted to and waited for Sheffield United. So when you say ‘Saints weren’t asking a lot’ I think that wasn’t the issue.
