  1. Will be decent next season with a pre season behind him, am I right or a wally?
  2. Gunn, Sugawara, Caleta-Car, VVD, Tino, Mane, Valery, Adams, Sulemana, Larin, Stewart. - Jones and Danso on the bench.
  3. Don’t really see the need for the ‘ungrateful’ narrative personally. Lads got a short career, made even shorter by his terrible luck and him and his advisors probably have had a whiff of something better for them that we’ve offered. He doesn’t owe us anything, he got given a contract here and it hasn’t worked out due to injuries but it’s not like it was an incredibly selfless act for us to continue to rehab him and chuck him in last season when fit. Just as we don’t owe him to offer him the best deal he’ll get just because he scored some goals for us last season. Good luck to him.
  4. Years and years of super injunctions have finally run out
  5. Okay the two this morning are better. The one yesterday was absolute slop though and just added to the cringeworthy response. Playing to a particular crowd of online conspiracy theorists, which is no surprise given some of the people involved at the top end of the club. That simply needs to be rooted out if you actually want to be accountable and humble. Happy enough to have a siege mentality regarding the team and manager but it only takes a few bad results or the FA accepting the dare to ban Tonda and shit hits the fan again.
  6. On reflection I think less statements from the club might be better.
  7. This isn’t the point you were making a few days ago in fairness.
  8. So guilty then? Thanks for coming to the jury service.
  9. Most interesting update for a while barely getting a response in 18 hours whilst in other threads people are pretending they know how to put a better legal defence forward than actual qualified lawyers.
  10. Incredible to think the players are sat around waiting to find out the details but the sleuths on here have dissected every single detail of the case from PP words to Gibson to the allotted time the club could have had legally if they hired the correct lawyers to form a defence for a charge everyone knows they are guilty of. This really is an incredible place.
  11. Just your daily reminder that they accepted all charges levied against them. So yeh, I’ve decided they are guilty. You are right.
  12. Totally the same, you’re so right.
  13. PP and TE had an opportunity to explain what actually happened when the charges were bought and concluded that admitting guilt was their only course of action. They also had an opportunity to stop events being blown out of all proportion but decided against any attempt to control the narrative. They’ve also sent proven batshit conspiracy theorists to bat for the club afterwards. It’s been piss poor and guilty decision making at every opportunity so let’s not pretend it’s a media hatchet job. People should be thrown under the bus for what has ultimately led to being kicked out of an opportunity to get to the PL. Who that is might be up for debate pending the outcome of an internal review and FA action but let’s not try and spin the idea the fans are wrongly jumping the gun ffs. 😂
  14. Out of interest, why? Our end of theirs? I'm not convinced either can do better than top end Championship given their limits so I suspect it'll come down to whether we think we can do better? Edit: Just seen everyone else has already asked and been answered
  15. Think we’d be setting Bragg back massively if we signed JWP or Reed. Should only be considered if Bragg or Downes leave. If we’re losing Jander and Charles you need to replace their energy and drive to get forwards. People don’t like it but we need to take gambles on signing the next top players rather than players who have been top players previously and are dropping down (same for managers)
  16. Joined as a set piece coach in 2024 so thats an incredible thing to say
  17. I suspect she resigned so she could avoid being there when the Sullivan allegations come out fully tbh.
  18. It’s time.
  19. He left his last three clubs either in or on the verge of the relegation places btw. He also contributed to our 12 point disaster more than most.
  20. You’re right. He doesn’t do that because he’s carved out a niche for going onto podcasts and getting a job at the lower end of the PL and doing a bad job there instead. You would have to ask Burnley fans that really. I wouldn’t want my hero back either btw. Other than I wouldn’t enjoy your hissy fit if it did happen.
  21. Isn’t Scott Parker and his football pretty much despised by every fan base he’s managed? Pretty sure they’ve all got better after he left too.
  22. When was the last time Sean Dyche actually galvanised a player out of interest?
  23. Only a lack of common sense stopping us from getting Thomas Frank is it 🤣
  24. Being kicked out of a knock out competition because you were caught trying to cheat is not the massively out of ordinary event that deems this level of deep dive. It happens in lots of sports, including this one, at lots of different levels. I can see why some people think it’s a bit much but it’s not some deep rooted conspiracy that’s on members of this forum to uncover via the back catalog of lawyers previous work.
  25. They found one of our analysts behind a tree mate. That’s all the deep dive you need.
