All this stuff about new players and time to settle in bollocks really gets my goat. That was objectively terrible. We were fucking lame. They had a sub keeper on after 20 mins in a derby and we didn’t make him make a proper save. We were toothless, lumping it up to the little man, no imagination or guile, boring to watch. The atmosphere around the ground beforehand and during the match was great. But I hope the players and the manager know they let the fans down. We’ll get better. But that wasn’t good enough.
