Heaton, Fabianski or Begovic could make for decent back up goalkeepers with useful experience but I think I'd prefer a goalkeeper that's closer to 30 than 40 as the first choice.

I can't work it out either. It's all well and good turning up against Liverpool and Manchester United (and supposedly again today against Arsenal although all I saw was a player with a poor final ball and a general unwilling to take his man on besides on one occasion that ended in a poor cross anyway) but he couldn't get a single goal in 25 Championship appearances and 6 Saints managers have failed to get a tune out of him. Liverpool and Arsenal were effectively exhibition games with key players left on the bench on both occasions. I've seen rumours that Will Still likes him. I was under the impression Still likes to press? Sulemana doesn't do enough work off the ball for me. His finishing is very poor. That is undeniable. He's often struggled to stay onside as well. As one of our higher earners especially, he's been proper shit. It's a very rare thing for a player that's been so poor for so long to suddenly turn a corner in their 4th season. Rare enough that we shouldn't count on it.

The same Leeds team we beat 3 times on the bounce last season? I wouldn't be judging that team until we see how they perform in the Premier League. I don't think much of their forward line particularly. We outscored them last season and, this season, their top scorer is Piroe who certainly isn't Premier League quality. Given they've posted big losses over the past 2 years, I don't know what their PSR situation is like but reports suggest they'll be quite restricted in the summer much like we were. Similarly to us, they'll also have to splash out just to keep their first team together as Solomon, arguably their top performer this season, is on loan from Tottenham. Daniel Levy won't make it cheap. I'm really not convinced that Leeds will do any better than last year's Champions, Leicester, especially with Farke as their manager.
