We barely gave them a sniff that game. KWP had free reign to bomb down the right wing with Stephens, Bednarek and Harwood-Bellis all moving across to fill the gaps. It was disappointing when he reverted back to Manning and KWP as inverted wing-backs. It leaves too much space behind and it doesn't play to KWP strengths. Personally, I don't want to see Manning in the line up. He's a poor defender and he gives the ball away too often. I like Bree but he's a right back and KWP is our best player.

Martin will never manage a better squad in his career. Russball doesn't work. We need to build a squad for a system that does work next season under a competent manager.

A bit simplistic. I'm not sure Leicester had the best squad in the Premier League in 2016. There were other factors involved. McKenna hasn't just got Ipswich 3rd because he has the 3rd best squad. He knows how to manage his squad and get the best out of his resources. He doesn't try to be revolutionary.

Russball is flawed at a fundamental level and he's too stubborn to do anything about it.

No we're judging him by his actions and debating whether we think he was justified in snubbing the other teams goalkeeper. I've already explained why I don't think he was justified. He's left his reasoning down to speculation, but you say it was because he thought he was a "cunt". Okay, if that's the case, he must have had a good reason but I just haven't found it yet. Time wasting isn't a good reason. He didn't snub the Huddersfield goalkeeper for instance. So then you have to wonder what was so different this time. I suspect it was because things didn't go our way this time. Don't get too high when you win and don't get too low when you lose. Leave that to the fans. You'll have to elaborate on that one.

I must be in the minority that still values leaving any differences on the pitch and shaking your opponents hand at the end.
