Starting Diallo over AMN. We've seen time and time again that the JWP-Diallo partnership doesn't work. Ralph has not learnt this. It was under the radar against Arsenal because we were losing that midfield battle anyway. The pivot player for Palace, Doucoure, isn't even in their squad.

We can count our lucky stars we're only losing 1-0. Major changes needed at half-time.

I think I would have preferred AMN to Diallo but otherwise decent team. Makes sense to go 3 at the back with no recognised right back.

I can see why we're looking at the South American market given when their season's end, it's easier to negotiate. I don't know anything about Matheus Martins but if he's been playing at Brazillian youth level and getting first team appearances for Fluminense, he must be well regarded. He'll be a raw talent, probably not yet suited to Premier League football but I wonder if we're getting him because we're promising first team football.

I hope so. Tight hamstrings can be exacerbated by the slightest thing. Going for sprints, changing direction or recieving a hard challenge can turn it into a 6 week+ lay-off. Hopefully it's one of those special tight hamstrings that lets you do those things with minimal risk 👍
