I think it's time for a change. His game management is just baffling.
-
Who here is honestly surprised? I can't see us picking up another point this season. Dreadful performances.
-
It's time for Dibling.
-
It's crazy how bad we've been since February.
-
Diallo keeps passing back.
-
Diallo can't play Romeu's role protecting our defense. Thomas Frank is currently exploiting Ralph's setup. It's clear they're playing so directly because of our high line.
-
Let's see how long it takes for Ralph to react.
-
It's so poor.

Oh no! Matchday😱

I totally agree. Adkins goes without saying. Pochettino and Koeman cemented our Premier League status with some great top half finishes. I never said we had a divine right to beat anyone. Perhaps the players think we do I don't know. What I'm saying is he has proven himself capable of putting a team together to beat Spurs, Arsenal also avoiding defeat to city twice ect, yet we're still likely to finish bottom 5. I want him to succeed I really do and when he does I openly praise him for it. He's likable and when he selects the right team in the right shape we play some great football. I'm not sure he's done that these last few weeks so I'm criticising him for it. It just feels like he tries to fix things that aren't broken sometimes and tries to be too clever for his own good. It's costing us a strong finish this season.

No, we've avoided relegation from this league for 10 seasons. Achieving what is a bare minimum requirement every season with the occasional capitulation isn't some miracle only Ralph can attain. We've shown we can beat strong teams on our day. We were in a strong position to achieve top 10 a few weeks ago but just when it looks like we're about to kick on, we regress again. Now it will likely be a bottom 5 finish because we regularly lose to teams below us. It feels like we lose more to teams below us than we win! Narrowly missing out is one thing but we just lose all fight.
-
I don't disagree about our lack of investment but the fact remains that he has a team capable of beating Spurs, Arsenal, avoiding defeat to city twice ect, yet we're still likely to finish bottom 5.
-
Do you think it's unreasonable to expect progress? Finishing precariously above the bottom 3 every year will only end one way. It's likely to be roughly 9 points between 17th and 10th. Our results against the 5 teams currently below us has cost us the difference. All well and good beating Tottenham and Arsenal but if you lose to Norwich and Watford, it rather negates the gains made. Ultimately, until we learn to beat the sides weaker than us on paper, we'll always be a bottom half team living dangerously. Ralph has had over 3 seasons to get it right. Do we give him another transfer window and season to try again? I don't know but I suspect the new owners will be feeling disappointed with a bottom 5 finish given our position a month or so ago.

Really annoying that another season is ending so poorly when top 10 was so attainable. We're now likely to end up with our worst finish under Ralph. Where's the progress?
-
Huge opportunity for top 10 gone because Ralph messed with our strongest 11. What a waste.
-
We've offered nothing going forward. Really poor. Quite worrying actually.
-
Did Ralph ever actually change the shape because it sure didn't look like it? It clearly wasn't working. We created no chances against Arsenal and we created very few today. The few we did have were huge opportunities ruined by absolute howlers from Romeu and Adams. Awful performance. Ralph is great when he gets the initial setup right. If he has to adjust during the 90 minutes... well he won't.
-
Why the **** is Salisu on the bench?
-
We don't look dangerous when we go forward. Ralph's got the initial shape wrong.
-
I'm not sure that's the right call but I'll trust the manager. Would have liked to have seen the 4-2-2-2 return with Salisu and Lyanco at the back.
-
Perhaps, but I do think Green will undoubtably become a Premier League goalkeeper so I hope we're considering him. Salisu was about the same age when he signed. He had one season in La Liga and one season in the reserves playing in Spain's div 3. I would say he's been our best centre half since he stepped into the team.
-
In his defense, he was a regular until he was put out over a month with an elbow injury mid December. They signed a new goalkeeper on a 6 month loan at the start of January before Green came back from injury. Maybe they thought he would be out for longer and perhaps the new on-loan goalkeeper has been undroppable. I listen to the podcast and remembered his name being brought up on here a few weeks ago. I've seen a couple St Etienne games this season with Green in the team. He seemed very comfortable with the ball at his feet. Livramento had no senior experience at all before joining us but that didn't put the club or Hasenhuttl off. We're after talent before they become expensive.
-
I really hope we're taking a look at Etienne Green. A future star goalkeeper in my opinion and he would fit the bill as a young, up and coming player with a large mark up. I'm pretty sure his name has been mentioned on here before.
-
That Joe Gelhardt looks a player. I feel Ralph was testing Diallo today by giving him the 90 minutes and moving him into Romeu's role in the second half. He started slowly but I think he did well overall with some decent moments. He's still got a few mistakes in him though.
-
Got our captain to thank for this one. Broja's form has continued to be poor. For a player that likely won't be here next season, I feel we should be giving more minutes to Adam Armstrong to build his confidence.
