  1. The stripes look exactly like the Sweden kit in different colours, which is why the discussion is about the things we don't know. Surprised there hasn't been more panic about the back yet though :
  2. That's the only plain v-neck collar I've seen from an Umbro 2012/13 shirt so far. LOSC's collar looks like the Man City shirt from last season as well.
  3. It is totally wishful thinking. The designs we're discussing, and have more or less been for 15 pages, are : Itchen Dan's mockups : My "it looks like this without that collar" And mulletsaint's overpainting of the Sweden shirt : None of them have the right collar though.
  4. I just love the fact that the governing body is the World Taekwondo Federation, aka WTF? PS : What numbers 2-52 did to not get picked was to not be British, they're world rankings.
  5. You didn't have to.
  6. The problem with that is that referees even watching the video will continue to make terrible decisions and generally retrospective punishment shouldn't be the way to go - it doesn't redress justice for the side that's been offended against, and in fact could help their rivals in subsequent matches. None of the "make them leave the pitch" measures have been effective, mostly they penalise genuinely injured players and allow timewasters to waste even more time. Even yellow cards for bookings haven't really worked, and I'd hate to see red cards, it would completely ruin the game as a contest with refs just choosing to ignore dives instead of send players off or making awful decisions which are pivotal to matches - I accept they have to do that anyway, but the number of times they should have to make game-altering decisions should be kept to a minimum, and draconian punishment doesn't support that. I'm against the "kick your leg into the defender" dives, and the "rolling around" stuff that you don't do if properly injured though.
  7. Judging by the ridiculously early timing in preseason, I think this year's Liebherr Cup is designed to showcase Saints with the Olympic Torch and new kit(s). It's going to be so uncompetitive at that stage, a full month before the season starts. Last year's West Brom (reserves) friendly was pretty decent nevertheless - the Wolves one will feed the Jarvis/Henderson/etc rumours nicely.
  8. Relatively speaking I think it was a vaguely interesting update - better than the usual "x thinks Saints will x" news, or an upgrade to SaintsPlayer or something. When you consider that there won't be any STs used at the preseason games and that everyone will be buying a ticket, you can see that it'll make a decent dummy run for the match by match system, probably similar numbers of tickets sold for the Ajax game as for the first Prem match when you take STs out of the equation. I had heard that the club were keeping a steward per turnstile for the time being to help resolve ticket problems and to initially check the ST light system (I'd heard it was a type of red/amber/green system with a separate colour for concessions), so they're not making ANY savings with this new entry system at the moment.
  9. Hang on, couldn't it be some gash "Saints will be featured in a new trading card/sticker set" kind of thing? There's a lot of miscellaneous Prem detritus to wade through I'd forgotten about.
  10. Well Mullet's is based on the actual template whilst Dan has already said he has done a later mock up which he hasn't shared, so at this point Mullet's, the stripes are narrower and in the right place (there's a central pair). Neither of them is close with the collar though.
  11. Clearly I don't have enough pairs of trainers. Also, I haven't seen any ITKers on here who haven't said what they know.
  12. I'm going for a player swap, as they are trading cards. The wife says Tom Ince for Puncheon (and £2m apparently).
  13. Word of advice, change your password immediately. Cos basically if you stick any old numeric nonsense in the password field when linking a ST holder it will add them to your Friends, which then shows you their DoB if they have put it in the system. So you COULD then log in as them and use the DoB as their password and do what you liked...
  14. Chelsea's away is also very similar to Spain's away (without the gradation) and LA Galaxy home (without the criss-cross pattern). It's an adidas 2012/13 "thing". I'd be surprised if we had another sash, that would be a "detail" even the densest bimmer model would remember.
  15. Only Rodriguez is getting the fur lined. I am now inert to "Premiership", btw.
  16. The collar's definitely not right, I know that much.
  17. I can answer that one. No. I know someone with a bit of it though.
  18. They already know exactly where this rumour came from, I'm pretty sure.
  19. I guarantee they will sell 10 blue away shirts for every one red home shirt this season. I don't think the colour the national team wears is even a consideration in the discussion, and I say that as someone that's been to probably about 40 Wales matches.
  20. Saints shirt for me. With some other clothes.
  21. Just to note that PremierLeague.com (which is the official Prem website) has already done it. Here's the sparkling Saints page... http://www.uefa.com/MultimediaFiles/Download/Regulations/competitions/Regulations/91/48/36/914836_DOWNLOAD.pdf Stadium photo is at least two years old, kit is out of date, no squad stats... they're just not trying yet.
  22. To be fair to Yago (Iago) Falque, he was a season long loan from January, so we wasn't able to play for Spurs even if they had wanted him to. Not sure how he's meant to have played for Spurs since the end of the season exactly ? Also, Spurs had him on loan from Juve for the first half of the season and only signed him permanently the day before he left to play for us, so I'm not sure how that fits with your "last chance saloon" theory, he'd been with them for under one day. In fact, you couldn't have chosen a worse example.
  23. This is usually where I ask for someone to sticky the thread so we can reflect on it... Everyone's going off rumours and there's a lot of goodwill and faith being put in what only a couple of people have said - but there are two completely separate sources for the same information so far, one of those sources has previous ITKness from last season's kit, the other is completely independent and has made comments without much knowledge of the context. Based on that, I'd say we were pretty confident that at the very least the red kit, which has 7 pairs of white pinstripes on it, is a Saints kit for next season. The rest is guesswork. I actually think, if there's a reversed away style in white, that it'll outsell the red shirt.
