  1. It is time for a new manager
  2. He's been trash today. Needs a proper striker up alongside him
  3. I do hope we change the formation once we actually have some fit fullbacks
  4. It means we don't have Djenepo at left back
  5. We've said we're going to sign a striker. It's pretty obvious that we are short up front and at full back. We'll be a different team with those positions addressed, not least because we'll be able to play a different formation
  6. Such a stop-start half. Leeds have clattered us every time we've put some passes together. Good to see a couple of names in the book now. It's also clear that we're struggling to do our normal press in this heat
  7. Can't help but worry that we're underestimating how hard it is to offload these sorts of players without massively subsidising their wages
  8. It is looking increasingly like a mistake that we kept him this summer. Even if we get rid now, we're going to have to get rid of the new backroom staff too or find a manager that is happy to not bring his own people
  9. If someone said "I've spent £20,000 on food this year", would you assume that they were just talking about their big weekly shops at Tesco or across all food outlets?
  10. Che is decent
  11. I'd like to keep Che but he only has two years left on his contract. If we're far apart on wage demands then we might need to sell to maximise his value
  12. This is right - it will all hinge on whether KWP wants to go
  13. There's a difference though between supporting a player who just missed a few chances and one whose off the ball effort was simply not up to scratch
  14. With one year left on his contract, I could well believe that Lyon and Saints might agree a deal. Whether the player would agree to come is another matter
  15. That was incredible close control
  16. Indeed, that is how we signed Danny Ings
  17. FandabEdozie
  18. I don't think the model is inherently unstable. We might sell a couple of players each summer but we can still keep the core group together
  19. If we can get McAtee on loan then I think that would cover us and we can spend money on a striker
  20. And after we played Djenepo at left back all last season, when will he learn?
  21. This does feel a bit like when we tried to sign Harry Kane. Why would City sell rather than loan him out?
  22. I can't help thinking that Broja and Delap both having contracts until 2026 puts us in a weak position
