and not have to worry where you are leaving your car for hours or how long it will take you o get back to it when you get home at 4 in the morning from a night game at Hartlepool.

Would be interesting to know how many of those who are defending this decision actually ever use the travel club ? I rarely do but when i have done the fans are either young families or OAP's the two areas of society who will struggle to find the £10 on top of tickets, coach costs etc. All these extras seem to be targetted at the hardcore support not the occasional supporter

Plymouth rag annoyed at SFC - non-SFC photographers refused entry to SMS

Lots of complacency on here, as SFC once again sets itself against the football conventions and traditions it ended in tears last time lets hope history does not repeat itself -
as you get older you prefer for them to be in the toilet rather than on the pitch
-
thank you assume it was done because we lack pace in wide areas

when you have to watch from home for the first time in years everything appears to take longer and my observations came from the amount of time Plymouth took to take throw ins, the pitch just looked narrower. i was hoping a regular tv viewer would have answered rather than a silly comment

In answer to original post there seems to me to be a few ways to break down defences, the problem yesterday was we did not start with any of the answers 1) Rely on a constant stream of crosses to a big man who creates havoc, Lambert was missing 2) Rely on close tricky skills around box , Lallana did not start 3) Rely on real direct pace with a player who goes for the heart of the defence and creates havoc, we do not have such a player at present. I believe 1 and 2 are available to SFC but until we find a player to do 3 we will not be complete as a team. Puncheon has pace but rarely uses it relying on skill more than pace

Due to health reasons I had to watch game on Sky yesterday. To all those at game was the pitch smaller, in width, than last season. It was just that on the TV there appear lots more grass for linesman on Kingsland side

Agreed but my fear is that we had a recent Chairman who tried to do things different than others going against football conventions and traditions and he came unstuck -
was at that one until half time, stood under main stand, fratton end taking it in turns to spring across the gap to dive in on us. OB made us leave at half time

Hope you are right but the complacency of some on here, words like strong squad and better squad, makes me cautious for the season ahead, football has a habit of slapping you across the face, and i find myself almost agreeing with the professor
