  1. perhaps we could invite old "friends" like Sundance and Scooby. Alpine and Tim could jet in
  2. SO away supporters coaches will sit at the Britainia Road Lights and go out 2 at a time, then sit in queues all the way through Bitterne to the M27, rather than having a clear run. m
  3. signings have been put on hold until we have paid for car park meters
  4. So how many did renew by due date or this now another need to know figure?
  5. which in practical terms achieve what?
  6. i thought council staff used the car park during the week as part of the planning application when sms was bought
  7. probably will be £3 min fee to park, to catch all those who go to the stadium for tickets rather than buy on line sad day
  8. Agree that the parents and pupil have a responsibilty what winds me up is this complete lack of acknowledgement from the teaching profession that there may be poor teachers
  9. my sons school estimates what grades they will get at GCSE, if they are all expected to get grade D , then surely the two options are 1) kids are not up to it or 2) teacher is not up to it All i was trying to same is for to long it is the kids who are blamed not the teacher By the way my boy is forecast all A's or A*
  10. The whole system is just so pc my youngest is in year 10 and you go along to parent evenings and the teacher says he is at level c, i ask how that compares with others in class and get told it is not relevant as it is a national standard,So i say but it is relevant because if the national standard is b and everyone in the class is c then just maybe it is not the pupils but the teacher. i am not always popular because i will not accept their jargon
  11. I think we are talking snizzles and coughs
  12. do not true if orginal post is true or not, but it will be a sad day if it is my big fear for next season is that NC assumes because we did well it wil continue antone who has watched saints over the last 50 years will tell you one good season does not guarantee the next will improve
  13. still think we need pace in the team
  14. unless we get a couple of players in with pace to replace Antionio and Papa we will be very one dimenisional going forward, in fact that is my biggest worry regarding the playing side of the club. a long with can the players handle being favorites for promotion
  15. i married a skate, from Wymering the rough bit of Paulsgrove, she has 7 sisters, loads of cousins, nephews and nieces. family do's were ok until my 2 lads grew up( 22 and 15) and would try and wind up their cousins etc, now they are all skate bas*ards and we rarely get invited. good result because most of them are thick and follow the rule of living within a mile of each other.
  16. i wonder what our attendance break even figure is, trying to increase revenue without improving the product on the pitch has come back to bite past chairman
  17. she told me that and i still find it hard to believe that RL was so poor a business man that he could not divide a fixed rental cost plus match day staff costs and divide it by the number of cars to get a selling price
  18. i was trying to find out how it would work for cup games, i understand where we can claim our own seat we can claim and pay £10.50 for cup games, but was all a bit vague on how it will work for games like Bournemouth where it is a free for all.Hard to believe they lost money on these car parks in the past
  19. as an old married man with sons aged 22 and 15 , i rarely see a £10 note let alone a £20 one
  20. contact Sarah Wallace at club, they are not automatically renewing but filling up car park at a time, to avoid half empty ones. one i parked in at Hansons Yard in Marine Marine is not being used this year, been offered St Marys Street or Car park used for Jpt trophy, which is ok but as we come in over Itchen Bridge means we have to go back past stadium to go home.
  21. Not convinced it was the last home game,we had 3 away games to go at Plymouth, Leyton and Man City. In many ways promotion was gained by winning at Plymouth But at the time of the Charlton game anyone in attendance will tell you it was the most tense game played at the Dell
  22. nope without beating Charlton at The Dell before the Leyton game would not have mattered
  23. getting back to the orginal question, i am not sure what is going on first a huge increase to park my car, cannot see how clubs costs have gone up, now cannot claim my seat for a cup game. yes i know that was the policy last season in early rounds but a local derby against Bournemouth seems a strange decision.
  24. If this is correct then i may have to see if they will refund my season ticket money, they struggled to fill the car park i was in at Hansons yard last season, if it is £200 plus cup games on top, then how do they hope to fill it this season. 50 years of support to end
