  1. depends on your difinition of profit assuming we only have 0ne owner then they will take Directors Fees and their will not be the need for dividends. i THINK THE DAYS of multiple shareholders at SFC are gone.
  2. not so many youngsters these days is it a little while since you saw a game
  3. the back four would have had to be good with the six in front of them, not to many tacklers there but i know what you mean we chose to experiment when we had the runts of the litter left
  4. i find it sad that due to many posters ages that that day was seen as a great day. glad i have seen great days where we actually were total winners not just avoiding relegation
  5. Mike Wilde Did
  6. think we should do the opposite and just let them play, to much pressure otherwise for the poor boysh. although i expect Wotte will compare Lloyd James to Roberto Carlos in Thursday's Echo
  7. still knew more about him than i did JP and Wotte
  8. Sums up my feelings as i drove home that day, things were only going to get worse
  9. Well done
  10. Over rated by who ?
  11. by big fear
  12. Alan Knill at Bury,
  13. NOT SURE , we certainly have monkeyed about this season
  14. yes and they use the Northam Car Park during week for staff parking
  15. two from Barclays would probably known more about CCC football
  16. sadly i have to agree , even sadier is that at least 5 to 8 of those will be on the pitch
  17. As Legod said lots of Horse trading will go on until a deal is agreed , the bad news is it does not have to involve SFC, if Barretts offer to pay off all the Norwich Union debt and put in another £5m for the other creditors and it is the best deal Fry is duty bound to accept it
  18. but is that not contary to 19C's view, if we had won a few more home games , averaged 20k rather than 15k , the extra revenue would have kept us a float. the big question for me is still why send out cheques knowing they would take us over the limit, arrogance that the bank would agree or delibrate act so we could go into admin because a transaction indicated we were insolvent ie bounced cheques
  19. to be fair to Mark Fry if we did have 34 enquiries he needs to check each one out to the same level even the ones he may suspect are tyrekickers. If a deal is near the likihood of a major leak is slim With the complicated web of companies at SMS and the way the assets were financed the negioations will always involve 3 parties, Fry , Buyer and Norwich Union, although i think the overdraft is also secured on the propert assets so even Barclays may be involved.
  20. Seems to be our academy was geared up to produce premiership players where ball skill etc is better protected than in the CCC,that coupled with the reduction in quality both in the boys coming in and the coaches at Staplewood , has led to a real gap in USEABLE talent. Many of the boys can pass a football, with both feet, through the eye of a needle but they cannot head a ball, get their bodies across players to win poession or tackle strongly. But the worse trait i have witnessed is that idividual skill, ie MLT style, has been removed. DMG strike against Palace was a rare change as 9 times out of 10 the ball is just passed on rather than a shot
  21. Concerned to hear Jez Moxey at Wolves saying they are planning for Premier League now, just hope Wolves turn up at Barnsley on Saturday
