STILL see all answers are based on whether you are a luvvie or a lunatic. as i see it he is still putting his hand in his pocket, as is Guy and Mike Richards but there are some notable ommissions from the £1000 club

How can you really have a long term plan in football unless you are very rich and can keep all your best up and coming players. Our problem is we planned for the future and forgot the present.

bit more than a wind up

interesting , suppose we will have to get used to it with away fans being able to buy tickets at SMS on match days as well as from their clubs before the game
-
Final whistle yesterday
-
can only see it getting worst as we will be one of the bigger clubs in Div 1 , large following both home and away with tickets readily available to all , wheras in our premiership days tickets were limited and groups of mates sitting together very difficult because of season ticket/members buying the majority of tickets

i wanted rupert out with a vengence but even i believe dragging up the posts for the 100th time is pointless lets face it if Jim Steele had not let the ball slip under his foot in 77 we may have won the European Cup Winners Cup

Does anyone know how much was raised ?

Seriously doubt it, we will get someone who does all their dough on buying the business, limit funds for transfers

sun is shing then i read this i just cannot believe that anyone would be prepared to buy SFC and bring rupert back, it would be the most crazy business decision since employing an unknown dutchman to run a mans football team and staff if it with kids, Seriously not a penny in season ticket money would leave this house if rupert has anything to do with it, so that is a grand they have lost already

Totally agree roll on promotion push
-
disagree since Wotte's been in charge and Euell has been up front DMG has been our best strike threat and he has, imo, worked a lot harder. we will struggle to get in , in your words " better players" if we had had a better manager for the first 6 months of the season who realised you need a big center half the players we had would have held onto our ccc place.

Teddy i will be there next season , in fact i will be there every season my aim is to take my grandchildren to a game just like my granddad did me.

Saints 2-2 Burnley Post Match Reaction - Saints Relegated
70's Mike replied to Arizona's topic in The Saints
do not always agree with you Nick, but do on this issue imo since Wotte's been in charged DMG has upped his work rate and looked a decent player. BWP again imo will never be a good striker because he lacks composure in fromt of goal, the likes of steve moran would be on double figures for goals with the number of one on ones BWP has missed -
i agree about the police if they had policed the G8 yobs with the same tactics there would be pleas for public enquiries etc. there are some very moral people on here , strange thing is that very few of those involved in the "trouble" will ever read their condemination

i have got leukaemia and supporting the club is important, it is a disaster to be relegated. watching your team slide does not help your mental ability to fight illness

diasppointed that the first time in my memory we did not present the player of the year with his award on the pitch
