away fans always say nice things after they beat you. decent defender as well -
plymouth at home tuesday week
-
agree about the atmosphere today , as for the Lowe out chants they are very near the surface and will reappear against Plymouth unless we win or have a common enemy like the ref today
-
good shout
-
i am sure today was the first time Forecast has been involved for a home game
-
if Pearce had not scored i think Swing Lowe would have been echoing around SMS, Lee Mason performance gave the saints fans at the game a common enemy today, but if we fall behind against Plymouth Tuesday week Rupert may need his Green Team
-
See Forecast was on the bench
-
What a funny afternoon, we started terrible with school boy defending against deep crosses, Lowe is saved by Pearce's goal because the mood was turning ugly following Wolves second goal. Jan makes a mistake by thinking Cobern is ready The crowd got behind the Saints and the boys did well to respond, Perry comes on and gives us experience at the back. As for the ref and assistants must have had Wolves for an away win on the pools
-
we better shut up or Sundance and his boys will be on accusing us of something personal while they ignore the facts
-
that is why it is difficult , remembering them as they were, Surman, Skacel , Euell not fit to lace the boots of those who went before. JP will play 4-2-3-1 irrespective of the state of the game,we will drag everyone back for their corners encouraging them to push 10 into our half, we will bring on a forward but keep the same shape in the second half. Our defence will concede from a corner the pattern is the same every game. We will probably play another youngster because he looked good in training where no evil opponents tackled him.

contradiction you want to be here but not suffer again

by eldest is not coming back from Uni for the second time ever (he has been going since he was 6 now 21) and youngest would rather go out with his mates ( going since we was 7 now 14) i will go out of duty and loyalty but i fear that the motivation for me after 47 years is getting less and less every week. reading threads on here it appears that the overseas exiles are the only ones not suffering from the apathy that is attached to the club and city these days
-
and that was what stunk about the whole affair, we were apparently "taken over" but ended up with the same owners except for Lowe and Cowens. If i remember correctly Lowe did not become Chairman until Guy got some stick. Definitely a deal for the few to the long term detriment of SFC,

i will be there problem is many will say F**K YOU, NOT WASTING MY F**KING MONEY
-
he must be getting on a bit now, wonder what happens to his shares when he pops his clogs? after saying that he managed to sell the club , and still be in control
-
What did Duncan (Fitzhugh Fella) say on Radio Hampshire?

PROBLEM IS how do you define better? in 97 i thought we were getting better than Askham and ended up with a clone controlled by Askham -
How to ruin a football club in less than 5 years

Do not hold your breath, spineless guy and his gang of worms have kept quite since 1997 when they sold the club for personal gain rather than the benefit of Southampton Football Club and conned the fans with a PLC which has always acted as a private company -

and that is what the Luvvies do not grasp or just ignore, true or not the vast majority of the people of this city, whether they go to games or not, blame Lowe for the decline of this club -
probably more Saints fans than will be there tomorrow. I was 11 at the time and remember Tony Knapp heading into his own goal to put Wolves one up and that all the scoring finished after an hour
-
another attempt to big up a young player, we need to let these youngsters learn there trade quietly without people keep pinning their hopes on them.

very true -
Southampton 9 Wolves 3 sorry that was over 40 years ago , tomorrow who knows and as only 14000 care it seems to me that those who go to games will expect nothing.

AGREED no money but the argument is how we are chosing to spend what little we have and even more relevant where is the present policy leading us , because without winning home games then the club is just getting deeper in the red, whilst we act as a nursery for unwanted players
