BUT you do have the answers ?

second sentence sums up why most have given up , club with no future. me i still go but that is because for 48 years of support i still cannot believe the mess we made of the last 12 years, sky giving us money and the management basically through bad football club management blew it. yes we got to a cup final but we were built on financial sand in 1996 and never propped it up with extra investment due to the old boys club which still runs SLH

who first called us customers?

had the same issue with my youngest son's PS2 a few years back and after talking to their help line re the cost of repair we just bought another one

your last 2 sentences are the nub of the matter and irrespective of results that under current will always be there

i do not think he has much to risk

Problem is you cannot say we have to be realistic about expectations because of our finance and then say you hope the board do not sell players in January to maintain financial stability. Unless we win home games , the crowd stays away , income is down and selling players becomes our only option unless the finances are not as bad as we are being led to believe

By the way Tim, Warsash top of Junior one in Southampton Saturday Football league and playing Home games back at Osborne Road for the first time in 5 years
-
Totally agree I have already mentioned in a couple of other threads that Perry and Skacel in the back 4 gave us the base to attack Reading today , something that has been sadly lacking at SMS
-
clever you perhaps you should have written to JP
-
Exactly we got support into the front man much quicker today because DMG and BWP appeared to have been given more freedom to get forward than they do in home games
-
Agree with you Tim but should add that the work done by Perry and Skacel today gave us a base to take the game to Reading, something we have failed to do at SMS Hopefully JP will keep the same side for Tuesday at SMS
-
Just got back i believe having Perry and Skacel in back four enabled us to play 4-4-2 but in a different way. Whilst Robertson was up front all the time DMG and BWP almost took it in turn to join him as did Lallana. We now to follow this up with a win on Tuesday , hopefully we can have an unchanged side

Neutral , strange word to use as a Saints Supporter

why the signing off of the accounts proves nothing other than the auditors are happy they give a true and fair view of the results to a point in time, nothing to stop the tax man issuing a writ tomorrow
-
Should be more worried by what we owe the Inland Revenue than those whose debt is secured. Most clubs go into admin because of tax man rather than banks
-
just out of interest where did it go

Went to school with Chris Newman, he was a year older than me , remember we were the only 2 kids who went to Leyton in 67. Chris stopped going to games when Lowe returned, the hate runs deep and many try to play it down, without the likes of Chris SMS would never have happened.
