"We're coming for you, we're coming for you, you dirty ****ing scummers, we're coming for....oh" *****s. LOL

lots of luck mack for tonight's game................all bad.

not sure Saints fans expect to get anything for him at all. If we sold him this summer for £5m, I doubt anyone would moan that it wasn't enough. We'd moan about the waste, not the current value.
-
Pulis said out for 12 weeks. That is one hell of a torn hamstring. Good player though.
-
First Aribo, now Bolasie. It's like the papers have been reading my posts on the transfer window threads. If Bolasie has shown any signs of the pace and power prior to his injury its a no brainer for me, but if not then we should stay well away, sadly.

10 x 0 = ? You're right about the bra kit though. Abomination.
-
Was he linked before then? Excellent if that's the case. When I posted about him on here previously I didn't think we'd be looking, assuming that story is accurate (more likely just an agent drumming up trade). He's a real talent. The best player in League 1 if you ask me. A two league jump would be no mean feat, but at worst we could loan him out for a season. Got to grab him now.

is there a more 80s colour scheme than red, white and black? Reminds me of 1980's Woolworth's music cassette storage cases. Terrible.
-
that's where I have seen that design. Good spot Turkish. Saints fans will just need create a small collection of tat to pin to it
-
...but some of you still buy them.

UA trawl the entire world looking for 8 year olds with the least amount of taste and design skills, kidnap them and then have them create 2500 designs in a dark room before allowing them out. Next, a hand picked team of Pompey fans select the three worst designs and have the outlines printed in black and white before handing a colour blind chimp a big bag of crayons to determine the colour scheme for each shirt. Finally a man drops 20,000 of them off at St Marys in the dark of night with a short note attached to the box reminding the Saints commercial director and marketing manager of the photo of them two docking. Quite frankly I don't see any other way they could have come up with the absolute heap of garbage they have so far. I could have all taste, talent and design skills surgically removed and still come up with better than these clowns.

on the front? That doesn't sound good and going on the terrible kits so far, I bet it isn't.

no matter how much we chat about it over the summer, the long and short of it is that it will be pretty similar next season. Without massive spending by the owner, it will take years to gradually offload the **** and replace with better. All we can hope for is good signings that help move us in the right direction, all be it slowly, and perhaps some good form to enable us to go on a cup run.

lowest gate of the season, strangely.

The first game I saw him play at the Dell he was up against Ian Rush and he had him his in his pocket all game. I thought we had got ourselves an absolute gem, a CB with both pace, power and positional play. Not sure why he didn't because a mainstay in our defence, but there were other decent CBs at the club I guess. That fantastic performance has stuck in my mind and is how I will remember him. 55 is no age.

yes, but don't call me Shirley

I see our friend Neil Allen has been called out by John Marquis on twitter as a lazy journalist
-
maybe Pep's admiration was genuine and he has decided to buy him as cover for Sterling. I always thought he was a very similar type of player and City always need to add homegrown players to their squad...

very frustrating player. Looks a rolls royce type at times with the ball and has enough pace to hold his own, but he isn't anywhere near dominant enough in the air or ground. We just ship too many goals, although they're not all his fault obviously. His wages means he wont be going anywhere. Its not like we have a lot of other great options in that position. I have to say Vestergaard gets an easy ride. He's so slow, incredibly slow. So much so that we cant risk playing him in a back four. I fail to understand how a scout did not pick that up or did we not care? Yoshida is pretty similar to Stephens in my eyes, very frustrating, looks smooth on the ball at times but just isn't dominant. It's a very tough position to play these days (requiring pace and power and ability on the ball) and thus finding good enough players is difficult. We need to keep looking!

could not agree more, although we have played Redmond quite far forward with some success, which has helped filled a gap to a certain degree. In addition to getting a striker that can offer pace, power and finishing (hopefully with a first touch too) I think we need to upgrade in terms of forward players like Redmond that offer dribbling skills and pace and if possible some goals. But we must get rid of players first to free up funds. Our hands are tied at the moment with so much wages going out the door to players offering us nothing or next to nothing
-
they got the easiest opponent in Sunderland, who have not been good in recent weeks. Donny followed by Charlton would have been tougher.Still, being clear at the top seems a long time ago now.
-
not a chance I would spend that sort of money for a league game. Cup final or Milan away, count me in, but £50+ to watch Saints vs Man City, no thanks
-
£20 to watch a cat C game in the Itchen South is good value.
