  1. £62m of debt looks manageable whilst revenue is £113m, but what if things had gone pear shaped last season and we had been relegated? I guess the majority of the debt being to Kat means we wouldn't have had anyone breaking our door down to get paid.
  2. They absolutely battered Yeovil. Hopefully other teams can scrape draws like this otherwise they might get back their rightful level of the third division
  3. They certainly did. Handy that as they would never have allowed the Victorian building to be knocked down, especially to be replaced by the monstrosity they have planned now. Four years on and the now retirement flats have still to be built, although planning permission is now finally in place and **** flaps has sold the land to the developer.

Wonder if they would have been mentioned by Ron if we had lost?

Blaming the ref is a classic defection tactic by a losing manager, but in this case the whole world could see through that as they weren't on the wrong side of decisions. Serious questions are going to be asked about his ability to turn it round and hopefully he won't. If he had any class or really was special he'd admit to his and his teams mistakes, offer some praise to saints and then tell the world he'd be working hard to out things right. Instead he acts like a ****.
  6. Original poster said billionaire owner right? Well in that case the first thing I'd do is make tickets free. I can't be arsed to think or worry about how that would work, my staff would sort that out. Yeah ok we will need a bigger gaf to put you all in. No worries. Character, safe standing, better access, right beer etc. Will all be incorporated, as will stands that are right up close to the pitch like the Dell instead of half a mile away. Oh and all the traffic nightmare, that will all be sorted....somehow, by er, my people. Anything new fangled (I will decide on that, but roughly speaking taking us back to pre 1985) won't be allowed. No wifi, no fans taking selfies or bringing in iPads, no corporate hospitality, no big screens...maybe big screens. I'd need to think this one through better. That won't mean I can't return to even older days either meaning no sponsors on shirts and no crappy half time entertainment. I am looking to take the match day experience (I ****ing hate myself for typing that) back to 1985, but without the violence. Just football. Nothing else. I don't want to move with the times (watching wise), I want a club that is traditional in every way possible. In terms of the team and training etc they can be as forward thinking as they like. The home kit would have Navy blue shorts and players would have to wear black boots. Er....not sure that else. Maybe some sort of tardis like area under the stands where everyone can get a comfy seat to drink their half time beer assuming it still can't be drunk in the stands. Depending on how many billions I might even build one of those underwater hotel complexes and stadium on reclaimed land by the waters edge just to show the skates what they might have got if one of their phantom owners had been really rich.
  7. The BBC website says fans of Premiership clubs are all protesting against ticket prices. Are any Saints fans doing anything at the Chelsea game? Not attending would seem to be the only real way of protesting about prices, but I guess that isn't going to happen.
  8. Er, they must have had a slight problem there...too bright?
  9. Davis can certainly contribute to a high less game, but JWP?
  10. Ron Manager or Monkfish
  11. nah he's the fella that walked the 92 for charity
  12. yes, but as laughable as their catering is both for journalists and spectators alike, you have to say that any journalist giving a league 2 club grief for not providing them with cordon bleu culinary delights free of charge is a bit of a ****. Mind you, as I recall the Moose' tweet was very tongue in cheek, but the skates bit on it as though it was fresh ragworm.
  13. Club was burned quite a few years back,,I think at Spurs, taking a large allocation, paying up front and failing to sell all the tickets. It hasn't done it since, instead playing very safe.
  14. Stanley more than held their own and might have won on another day. The game was too big for the ref according to the skates. I thought he did a great job. My 30-1 tip Morecombe starting to find their form...
  15. Perfectly put. Lallana was absolutely fantastic for us. Some unbelievable whitewashing going on here.
  16. Will he be bringing his ridiculously new white teeth back with him? if so then I'm out. ****.
  17. Chadli scored quite a few last season.
  18. Looks extremely comfortable on the ball, which is the sort of attribute Chelsea were looking to spend £40m on for Stones. Physically he looks strong. We just need to see how he defends against slightly better attackers. If he does that well then £11.5m will be a steal. Best of luck Virgil.
  19. Tiote has been absolutely woeful in the games I've watched against us. Powerful fella, but utterly clueless.
  20. I wonder how much money they will stretch to in the end?
  21. I still do not understand why or how we signed him. Who was the scout? Who within Saints was pushing the deal?
  22. £10m players don't sign £25k a week contracts. He will be on more that at saints I would imagine. We paid that sort of wage in the championship to several players.
  23. It's like the three card trick of getting a move. Talk to the press back home dropping come and get me hints, have you agent tout you to the bigger clubs, then kick up a fuss, miss games and say your heads on the wrong place to force the club to reconsider its hardline "thou shall not leave" stance.
