my party of three all felt this way.

you are right, we certainly need to beat teams like them to have a chance of staying up. Gutted at not getting the result but very pleased we have bounced back from the WBA debarcle. Can we kick on with a settled side and formation...
-
I thought the first was more a case of him running out of steam, his lack of pace meant he just made a desperate attempt to make up for it and he went down. Maybe not a dive just a going down easy. The second looked a huge dive. The third was too far from me but looked like a foul. The ref had a good game if you ask me apart from not playing advantage once. Clyne was lucky not to get a yellow before he did otherwise he would gone

yeah cos naturally he thought he'd wait for 11 games before doing that. You're struggling to convince yourself never mind anyone else.
-
Not sure Cork can be held responsible for the goal. Gazza made a poor choice simple as. It was the kind of mistake Kelvin has made in the past and been lambasted for.
-
for starters that was a long time ago, second I think you'll find we scored with two out of perhaps three chances and it was Mancu City that tore us apart. We didn't carve them open at all. If you had watched the Man City Swansea game you will have seen Swansea run Man City ragged. They were very very good in that game. My point is that they are not a bad side, but we made them look very very average today. We actually played well. If you don't think so then fine. It makes no difference and we'll have to beg to differ.

No Guly and no 4-3-3 means your interference theories have been blown apart. Stop digging.

er, it was at Man City. They murdered them and were robbed. I agree Fulham were poor and should have been beaten, but today it was about us nullifying them and not them being poor. Just look at how good they looked in the first ten minutes. We got hold of the game and didn't look back. We played well. We did create and at times they were hanging on. Maybe the clear cut chance weren't there, but we did enough to deserve to win. I get the feeling that because you have called for Adkins to be sacked you have drawn a line in the sand and now anything that happens is not good enough. I saw you moaned about the subs on another thread suggesting Adkins was clueless. He has made mistakes this season but not today.
-
I agree very little positive about the result, the performance was good though especially after the horror show at WBA. Can we follow it up with another and a win at QPR? If we do we might start dreaming...
-
maybe so, but if you watched the Man City game you will have seen a side carve open the league champions time after time. I didn't see them do that to us.
-
they took Man City apart last week. We worked extremely hard, pushed high up the field and tactically got it right. I think we nullified them rather than them being ****.
-
lets enjoy the stiffer defence for two minutes before we start moaning about the lack of attack. Not long before we have people moaning that we didn't sign enough attackers...

I know AL is not to be criticised on here but he has dived in the past and he went down easy on one of the occasions today. Sometimes its just because he lacks that pace and is desperate, but other times he just falls far too easy. Not sure about the one in the second half, but cry wolf and what do you expect. I hate divers with a passion. I couldn't stand Skacel for the exact same reason. Three game ban for any diver caught doing it IMO.

I was concerned Cork wouldn't have the tight enough control for the Prem, but I was so wrong. Absolutely outstanding game from him.
-
on top throughout so right to not make subs. Mayuka was an option, but Ramirez always offers that little bit if quality and I can totally understand why we kept it as it was.
-
I agree with all of this and think Niccy should be taken to task on it. It's just your theory that he is meddling with the side that I don't agree with.
-
Any mistakes in selection are made by Adkins. Any mistakes in formation are made by Adkins. Any mistakes made when doing the subs are down to Adkins. The mistakes in the transfers are down to the transfer committee. The mistakes on the pitch are made by the players. Flip that and all the successes are down to the same set of people. Cortese's actions should be scrutinised, especially ticket pricing, treatment of fans and the spending/loan he has taken out. I agree also that any interference with teams affairs should get the same treatment, but I see no interference or any evidence of it. Adkins dictates the formation running through the club not Wonga or Reed.
-
Guly has come on a few times near the 75 minute mark and that means Adkins is a puppet. Do me a favour.
-
I question the chairman, but the theory that Wonga dictates team selection is inaccurate.
-
I'd also suggest White Star on Oxford Street.
-
where has the £33m BVI figure come from or is it just a hopeful guess?

Nirvana at Reading
