This is exactly how I read it. We have lost our bottle to take possession of the ball in tight spaces and keep it. We play safe, Rory Delap style balls away from danger that don't lead directly to goals but by giving the ball away cheaply pressure builds and we eventually fall. Davis and Morgan had shockers. Confidence has gone and that spells big trouble. At the start of the season I didn't see three sides weaker than us and my opinion hasn't changed. Maybe that's why I am more forgiving of NA. I knew it would be tough and therefore its no surprise we're finding it so. The question is can Adkins ride out the storm and find a winning formula? It's looking desperate.

when I say involved I mean he has a role - overseeing the contract negotiations and having the final say on the move. Ie if the player wants too much wedge he won't sanction the deal. Forget the defelection or even the poor defending for the goal. The fact is we gave possession away so cheaply all half, and in the end the goal felt inevitable. Morgan and Davis not doing enough in the middle and the likes of Ramirez and Lallana trying too many eye of the needle balls. Not enough players moving off the ball or wanting the ball. Fox not at fault for the goal for me, Lallana being out of position left him with two so he couldn't close the ball down even if he wanted, having said that where on earth was a centre midfield covering in front of the centre halves, they should be out there chucking themselves at Ogenwini. make no mistake WBA are a very good side. Get anything from the game and we will have played very well indeed. Even of we were playing well I'd of marked this game as being tricky. We are not though and I don't have the answers as to how we will win the game. The Matthew Le God side looks close to what most would go for, but in reality its a 4-2-4 formation.

He did reasonably well when called upon, but defensively we were a lot weaker when he replaced the injured Jos. Footballing wise he is very very average. I've never seen a player, other than Powell, look so uncomfortable with the ball at his feet. He has the worse swinger (left foot) I have ever seen. He will never make a premiership player IMO. If we go down then every game he gets this season will be excellent experience. I don't want him back this season though.

going out if the cup in the first round with less than 10k watching isn't going to help the PST business plan.
