  1. so effectively the loan fee to cover the wages came out of the Kaboul transfer fee. No wonder O'Hara had no problem joining on loan as he was guarenteed he would be paid.
  2. pretty much no excuse whatsoever for not finding the money to pay the HMRC immediately. This bull**** about staged payments etc. should be totally ignored as quite clearly the owner has the funds. In addition a company that wants to stage payments shouldn't be adding additional players to the wage bill.
  3. is O'Hara being paid by Spurs?
  4. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_5918277,00.html what a surprise, they are stalling for time.
  5. I feel the same. When it comes to it the two leagues apart excuse, it is just not going to rub. There are less and less top notch sides in the draw, so a relativeley eay route to the final could open up. That would be a ****ig nightmare. In the League they look slightly adrift at the moment, but they have a lot of winnable games at home towards the back end of the season, they are not playing all that badly, so there is every chance they could turn this round.
  6. did you own it before then? Everyone else seems to be able to make that claim.
  7. he won't want to see his £17M-£23m written off, so it feels as though their future is saved.
  8. I have a spare ticket for Exeter. PM me. sold.
  9. I have a spare ticket. PM me.
  10. but your analogy fails to mention that another colleague has already told the world a week before?
  11. quick question. The Express give the reason for the ban - slightly early promotion of he training ground developments. Is this the only reason, because if it is, it doesn't half make the club look petty?
  12. is the main reason for this change so the North car park does not need to be closed and the corporates can therefore get their cars out quicker?
  13. mine is on its way, bit worried about my JPT tickets as these still have not shown up on my onlne account and I faxed my order across the same day.
  14. if people wanted a wall of sound they would have filled the Chapel in the first place, but we want to be near the away fans because it is the closest feeling we have to being on the terraces and having atmospheres like they were in the 70s and 80s.
  15. stolen from Wolves fans "Lets all have a whip round, lets all have a whip round, la la la la, la la la la"
  16. I'm sure you'll recognise the song... Down down, you’re going down I hear you knocking at the trapdoor and I just sleep so tight Your face, it has no place No room for you inside Hampshire, we need to be alone Don't waste your money they’ll take everything from you I don't care who plays next week or what you plan to do Turn turn, I wish you'd burn There's a time and place for paying back debts, I've got to get it through Cut loose, cause you're no use I couldn't stand another excuse from your company Don't waste your money they’ll take everything from you I don't care who plays next week or what you plan to do Storie, why can't you see You're a no-one nowhere washed up baby who'd look better dead Your debtors list is far too long I don't like the way it grows and grows upon my every word Don't waste your money they’ll take everything from you I don't care who plays next week or what you plan to do Saints are the resurrection and they are the light I couldn't ever bring myself to hate you as I'd like Saints are the resurrection and they are the light I couldn't ever bring myself to hate you as I'd like

  19. just a thought, did the skates pay up front for the 4100 FA cup tickets or do they have a big pile of cash that needs to be divvied up between us? Mind you it probably doesn't matter as we will owe them for the 40% of the remaining 28,000.
  20. no news of that on The Quay on the way home and they usually know these things before anyone else. Dindane has gone back to Pompey though. They've also sold out te Derby game. Who was it on here that tried to tell me they wouldn't?
  21. wages halved if they go down? Peter Tells Stories is the best negotiator in the worldTM after all.
  22. They have to hand in their notice and then the club has 14 days to pay them their wages or the contract then becomes null and void (and they become out of contract players). No player is going to do this whilst they are still being paid, all be it late, unless they had a new club lined up.
  23. Depends how much of his wages you are willing to pay. I heard Stoke were offering just 40% with no loan fee AND you had to start paying his wages again as soon as the season ended ie for the months he is away with England. That sort of deal is not going to help pay HMRC on the 12th is it?
  24. depends if he will be first choice at Stoke. Spurs could not offer him games. If Sorensen goes then its a no brainer for him.
  25. a 10% holding.
