How good does BT look in some of those clips. Massive desire to get to balls making him look almost quick. I'd like to see some clips of the 3-2 defeat at Old Trafford which was on Sky. Brilliant game despite the defeat. Also like to see the Man City last ever game at Maine Road.

I wonder of this tax break contravenes UK law in any way? What is the government going to do, just allow it and shrug their shoulders should anyone ask? The Dutch seem very unhappy by this stipulation and the suggestion was that they would look to negotiate this out if they were awarded the competition. I think this factor alone means Russia have it in the bag.

if you have paid a booking fee, but can't make the rearranged fixture do you get your booking fee back as well as the ticket price?

I got a Samsung NC10 just over a year ago. Nice bit of kit with a long battery life. Obviously there is no CD-ROM, which is a little annoying at times so much so I bought an external drive to load up CDs etc. The screen is excellent and there is just enough umph for me. The one problem with the NC10 is the they have an issue with the LCD cable breaking after a while (9 months in my case) this causes the screen to go white and you have to reposition the screen angle for it to go away. I sent mine back to be fixed. Samsung offer a very good service where a company comes and collects it free of charge from wherever you want and returns it. This took about 5 days. Unfortunately the same thing happened after 14 months. Despite being out of the 12 month warrenty they repaired it no questions asked for free. I was up front about it being 14 months (they must have known anyway) but it was not an issue. This time it took just 2 days. Brilliant customer care. Shame about the fault in the first place. It is a regular problem as I did a Google search atthe time and lots of people with the same issue. Newer versions perhaps have been improved. All in all happy, but if they had charged me for secnd fix it would be a very different post I can tell you.

I also never use the online system anymore, and think long and hard about going to away games. I guess though that the lost sales are more than outweighed by the income from the ticket tax. Shame that the club might be losing one or two fans because of this. Still what do they care, income will have gone up.

the bribes revealed may have been taken in the late 1990s, but the evidence showing this has only just come to light. The Times' expose revealed that curruption continues.

I think they had it 5 weeks ago. They did however write to both the people being accused and to FIFA, therefore FIFA had an opportunity to investigate the accusations made prior to the programme going out, butt they chose to stick theor heads in the sand again. If you watched the programme you will have seen the joUrnalists from Norway ask Sep Blatter at a press conference about Jack Walker's ticket touting and just fobbed them off. The vote is this week, the perfect time therefore to embaress FIFA into perhaps changing its ways. On a seperate issue are you all comfortable about the government obliging FIFA with a 100% tax break?

**** service and £3 a pop to use it. Probably best not to mention it on here though or the thought police will be all over you.

If our game at Hartlepool is called off next weekend...

Do they use Flybe? -
We might as well get rid of the youth set we have then if thats your attitude. Personally speaking I'd sacrifice a little quality if it meant we were developing young players that might, and I say might, stay with us as we hopefully progress through the league. The lad is absolute quality on the ball. He has an unbelievable first touch, and ability to keep the ball despitereal pressure. That is a rare talent at this level and if you or anyone else can't see that ability then I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to say that you don't know the game. The rest of the game, positioning etc. will come in time. I know he may leave, if the rumours are true sooner rather than later, but I hope not as he makes the game look easy and we will struggle to find that kind of player with the potential he has. Remember, the Chaplow signing is not done. As much as I like Gobern, is he going to get us promoted?
-
maybe the money or the player (or both) is not there. Maybe NA thinks Lambert will play himself into form. I hope so as we'll start to win a lot of games.

I was starting to think we went to see two dfferent teams on a Saturday, but I could not agree with you more on this.
-
Good spot, but to say he is not bothered makes you look foolish. He is quite clearly low on confidence and that it is hurting him. Personally I was srprised he came off. He has been very poor this season, but he was not poor on Saturday.

thanks, I just had it stuffed. Never laughed so much as I did when I saw Naked Gun for the first time. Brilliant fun.
-
The two guys from Norway clearly have raised issues with FIFA in their country. Maybe more have done the same. I had to laugh when they asked Blatter about the Jack Walker ticket tout situation only to be told it would only be investigated if raised by "official lines" yet these official lines don't actually exist. I wonder if the world's press will report on the programme's findings.

the point I took away was that Cameron will, over the next three days be begging to three or four (or maybe more) totally currupt pieces of **** to try and get the World cup here. Taking all politics aside, Cameron and the other English bid officials needs to seriously consider what they are doing. With all the corruption surrounding politicians in recent times they should seriously be considering stepping away from this `lobbying process' which we now know is one great bih series of backhanders and bribes. Instead of begging for votes we should be asking FIFA serious questions. The country doesn't NEED the World cup. It would be nice, maybe, but is it worth selling your soul for? We gave the world the game, perhaps we ought to make a stand and reclaim it from this totally currupt organisation that fails time after to time to investigate clear breaches of its own rules. FIFA disgusts me.

I'm hoping Thursday as I plan to drive up on Friday. No chance of that I suppose? -
last years cup run paid for Barney

FA ****ing cup brilliant.

You certainly are entitled to your opinion, but its a strange analogy seeing as Wilkins played for Chelsea, Man United, AC Milan and England. No big offer for Lallana either by the way, is he pants?
-
No one is getting moist, just some of us fans actually regard the FA Cup is an intricate part of the football season. It's not a side show, a distraction, a penalty or an afterthought. For me and others the FA Cup is just as important as the league. In the cold light of day a few years from now all anyone will really remember of the 2009/10 season is the Wembley appearance and the FA Cup cup defeat. Cup runs create history for the club. For those not fussed by the cup, three words "Barry Horne screamer"
-
what makes me cringe is the countless fans on here moaning about drawing a home tie in the third round of FA Cup against top flight opposition. OK its no glamour club, but its the FA cup, we are still in it and we can win this game. "Come to watch united, you've only come to watch united" fits many of our fans perfectly.
