him refusing to play, is that fact or an opinion? One thing I agree with you on is that I hope he stays.
-
you are right, I should apologise. I responded in anger to this load of cack: when of course your post did contain a well known fact about his sell on. Very sorry.
-
my guess is Stevie and Ray, oh and Blunkett now and then.
-
blessing. We are are painfully weak on both wings and this will just focus the mind of our scouts.
-
absolutely yes. I've pushed his name for donkeys on hear. Pace up front is what we need playing off Patterson.

I'll ask again GM, how many pennies in the pound did creditors get? You must know this to know they have been ripped off.

Saints refuse to deny Strachan at club last night

WGS goes from CL to div 3. Can't see it myself. He's been there done that and go the t-shirt. Why would he want to come back? -

Kelvin will be one of the few that knows who the manager is - if anyone does. -
great reading this thread and seeing the interest levels rising. I am dissapointed that blocks 1,2 and 3 are not open. This deicison ****ed off a lot of fans last season and the new regime's suggestion that they want to re-engage with fans appears to be just talk. The noise that these blocks generate is extremely important. A noisy ground improves the atmosphere no end and it's this that will attract fans back and not dare I say it the 3rd tier football they saw. This is an error.

we bought Jim Magilton and Neil Heaney in the 93/94 season, then Peter Whiston, Bruce Grobbelaar, Ronnie Ekelund, Neil Shipperley, Gordon Watson, Chris Warren and Alan Neilson in the 94/95 season. Jim and Ronnie were certainly good signngs, but the rest... The question is how much of our moderate success under ball was down to LM, AB or just Le God? I don't know the answer, but I don't hold any great faith in the DoF role but its ML's money so he can do what he wants. What I wouldn't want to see if Paul Tissdale coming in then having KK hovering over him as DoF. If KK came in lets make him manager and get on with it.

so you therefore must know how many pennies in the pound the creditors got then. Please tell.

Not sure why everyone feels so bad for Wotte. He didn't get a better offer, still got paid and therefore stayed. I think people are over egging the pudding when it comes to his loyalty. The same applies to Davis to a lessor extent. He stayed primarily because of family reasons. He likes the location and his wife and kids were settled. That was the main reason he wanted to stay with us. Yes of course he also wanted first team football, and perhaps he did turn down a raise (how big no one knows) but I doubt his `love for SFC' was the main reason for. his decision. Well I doubt it anyway. Don't get me wrong I am very happy he has stayed but I'm not convinced he stayed because he is loyal. As for Wotte I won't miss his long ball one man midfield ****e. Time to get a manager in that gets us playing the game how it should be. A Sean O'Driscal type.

I don't understand the role at all. You need a manager to train, pick the side and select who he wants to sell and buy. I'd also ask the manager to be involved in youth side of things as well in an overseeing basis. All that is needed is a CEO to do the negotiating on the transfer side of things. A DoF seems like an overpriced scout to me. Why not just pay a few bob extra for a few extra scouts. Going down a league means they are more vital than ever.

Why would I offer one? Your post was complete and utter nonsense. There was no hype, he came on scored a goal at WBA and people wondered who this lad was. He got his chance the follwing season and we all just looked at each other wondering how the **** could we be so lucky as to unearth yet another gem from our academy. He showed a lot of quality. He worked his nuts off in every game. He's already tough enough and when he is not shoved out wide he sees the ball and is fully involved. He can jump and wins his fair share of headers or at the very least competes whole heartedly to prevent the opponent getting a free header. He certainly can tackle and chucked himself into many last season. The only thing you got right was his poor shooting. If the lad ****s off then you won't hear another word from me, but whilst he is still here I'm not going to let posts like yours go.

whoever it is you just know he is going to be inspiring and better than Wotte (on paper). We are on a roll and things are just getting better with every day. Enjoy this people.
-
might be to do with people moved from the Itchen being allowed to get a seat in the centre at the wing price last season. Maybe.

CENTRE tickets at Fulham are 699 or 799 depending which side you are on. http://www.fulhamfc.com/Tickets/SeasonTickets0910.aspx Boros are 590 or 540 depending which side. http://www.mfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/SeasonCards/0,,1,00.html The fact is we are charging 12.50 a game if you get a ST. That is amazing. Absolutely spot on pricing to encourage ST sales. 10 free games if you buy a ST. If you intened to go to 14 games or more then a ST is for you.

behave, he put a lot of noses out of joint. You are right the loudest noise came from those that didn't want him but make no mistake it was closer to 50:50 split as was replicated in the boardroom. Its water under the bridge. Let it go and enjoy this latest part of the rollercoaster ride. In the end you have to experience the lows to really enjoy the highs and WHEN we do make it back to the big time we won't treat it like our right and enjoy every last minute.
-
the new man will be in place already, they just can't reveal him for PR reasons (and quite right to).
-
more than happy for Lowe to buy a box for the £20k or whatever it is. Wonder if he will come to any games. More than happy for anyone to come to SMS if they pay the going rate.
-
Maybe so but I thought the Abu Dhabi United Group, of which Al-Fahim is a board member owns Man City?

The continued rivarly is all important but the next time we play them I would want us to be on equal footing if not better. I've a sneaky feeling we'll get them in the cup this year at their place and we'll get a chance to get that ama****ingdilo song out of my head once and for all.

-----------------------Davis------------------------- James-------Thomas-----------Saeijs-------------Mills A other better than thomson-----Gillett----------A other box to box man-------A other pacey top notch --------------A pacey other-----------Patterson------------------

As much as I like Murty my concern is the lack of pace at teh back. Perry has gone in my opinion. He costs us goals with his lack of height and pace. Murty suffers from the same lack of height and pace so I worry about us being able to handle set peices. Mind you if Murty wins headers like Dodd and Telfer did then I'll be happy with that. Seijs is a must as is development from Lancashire. On the left Mills signing is a must but he'll need cover if Molyneux leaves - is he really leaving? The entire midfield needs looking at. I don't rate Holmes or Thomson out wide. Both are lightweight and neither is going to actually scare defenders. They will hold an end up perhaps but we need the best wide men in the division. Players that are going to be lively and threatening ensuring opposing fullbacks never cross the half way line. These two are not that. In the middle the Gillett/Schneiderlin partnership offers absolutely nothing going forward. In reserve we have Pulis and Wotton so that sounds like four `holding' midfielders to me. We need a box to box man, if not two and some goals. Lallana could offer an option in the hole but I don't want to see that crap diamond formation where Gillet ends up having to handle all four opposing midfielders. Up front we need some pace badly. Stern and Rasiak offer the fox in the box statuesque style striker but we want someone that is going to scare the living **** out of defenders and that means a combination of pace and power.

I agree. He is a long way from being ready for the Premiership and a long (and by that I mean playing lots of games) season with us in League 1 would not do him any harm at all. Commons' prospects and status were not harmed at all by his stint in League 1 and the same would apply to Lallana. It seems like a backwards step but in actual fact his development will prosper as Mills, Monk and many other young players have done when stepping down a DIV.
