  1. Doesn't feel like a match winning display so far.
  2. Not sure what you were expecting to be honest. Our best performances come from those players too. Its not like he was make huge wholesale changes for the FA Cup semi final. Personally would have preferred Adams not Redmond but other than that, its as good a team as we can put out.
  3. Didn't quite see that. Would have preferred Adams over Redmond but there you go. We've got options off the bench i suppose.
  4. What are you on about?
  5. Name on the cup, lads.
  6. Beautiful shot of Prince Harry at the precise moment they sang "forgive us our trespasses". BBC not messing about.
  7. I haven't seen anyone - what channel are you watching, or are you in Windsor?
  8. It's people at work. Which, last I looked, is permitted under the regulations.
  9. Boring old rubbish Newcastle scored more goals in one game than electrifying scintillating Fulham managed in four matches. Not sure there will be much TV interest on the last day of the season.
  10. Feels counter intuitive that Kasper is not as good as Lurckio at saving penalties. Can't see it myself. Anyway we're going to smash it in normal time so no bother.
  11. There will be plenty of batshit mental local councillors all over the country so I don't see the issue with this guy to be honest.
  12. You're wasting your time. These people just ignoring the EU nations already making their own calls about vaccines left right and centre - yesterday's news about Denmark halting AZ completely being the most recent example. bUt i tHouGht tHeY aLL jUSt dO wHAt tHe GErmAnS sAy
  13. The fact that you even asked that question should tell you that it is obviously not the same as Ole at Manchester United.
  14. Basically a higher profile version of packing Burley off to Scotland. But in this case there is absolutely no way it would happen. Previous Bayern managers include Ancellotti (at his peak) and, er, Pep. Or basically the best German manager alive at the time. Just pointless clickbait because obviously he's going to be on betting lists for it.
  15. Now is probably the appropriate time to admit that I also post under the name "Whelk". And Hypochondriac. And AlwaysSFC. And HelpMeRhonda. And pimpiniz4real or whatever it is.
  16. Such a pointless argument. Apparently the Luther character wasn't developed as a black man, they just got the best actor for the job during casting. ....which is the exact same argument used when the debate of the day is "of course James Bond can be black". See no colour, find a great actor. This stuff is completely self-defeating.
  17. The minute we ticked over into 29 points in January we were clearly safe. We were never going down from that point. I remember saying stuff at the time like "even if we lose ten in a row we won't go down". I didn't expect to be proven right in that way but there you go. As someone else said we've had a Crystal Palace like season: rack up the points in half a season then cruise/collapse/stagger over the line. They've done that a few times now, and we've done much the same.
  18. The main problem with Southampton Football Club, and I've said this many times, is that we sign too many rubbish players when we need to be only signing good players. I don't understand it.
  19. Stockpiling happened in anticipation of the ball-ache of the Brexit changes so is in the debit column, not the credit column.
  20. I don't accept the premise that Ralph is a helpless victim who needs to be helped out by blessing him with new backroom staff. Its his backroom team, he's accountable for the decisions made and the advice he listens to. The idea we are now a hostage to this manager because we cannot afford to sack him is madness. I understand your argument, like you say, it's not difficult to understand. But it is absolutely ridiculous. I don't want to sack him right now but not for that reason.
  21. We've lost 11 out of 14 with the worst record of 2021 because of Dave Watson? Do me a favour. Just a cop-out. At the end of the day Ralph's standing in the club is strong enough to have elbowed out Dave and Kelvin if he'd wanted to by now. The first team backroom staff is his accountability as much as the team on the pitch.

    Coronavirus

I cannot imagine the Johnson and Johnson vaccine to be anything other than a thick pink liquid like baby lotion.
  23. It is still perfectly possible for us to beat Leicester in a one off game. I'd like to see Che back in the team, and not sure Diallo has earned his place, but difficult to drop him without disruption elsewhere (ie moving Armstrong back). But as someone has already said, it feels inevitable that it will just be an unchanged side from yesterday.
  24. I was listening to some podcast or other and there was a discussion about things that the journalists notice now they are physically at games with no fans. Things that you'd never realise in a full stadium. And one journalists observation was that Ward Prowse is an absolute little shit. Pretty sure they used that exact phrase. Constantly giving lip out all match, like a Brad Haddin style Aussie wicket keeper, just constant stream of little digs dished out to opponents all match. And of course we've all seen little bits of his shit-housery from time to time. I know there are people that have just decided he's a vicar's son wouldn't say boo to a goose type, because they decided that many years ago and will never change their mind. But there is probably another side to the story. The other side being, you know, reality.
  25. Brendan Rodgers went to Leicester, which was the most high profile recent post-old firm role. Strachan and Lennon went to the Championship. No Rangers managers have been anywhere as all shit. Doesn't really matter how well Howe does, he'd come back to England to take a job, at best, at a club like us/Palace/etc. He'll come back to England as the guy who relegated Bournemouth.
