  1. Being that there is now a strain of thinking on this forum that wouldnt it be brilliant if we had lots of 2-2, 3-3, 3-4 and 2-3 matches, thence selling VVD would be an excellent step in the right direction to that dream scenario.
  2. We're definitely doomed. It will be just like that time we sold Europe's best young left back to Manchester United and replaced him which cheapo shi te replacement who'd been a failure in every club he'd been at. Clueless greedy Les selling high and replacing with junk. Whatever happened to that guy?

Would be a very brave move. We'd desperately need a strong start.
  4. 11 semi finals we've had you know.
  5. Have you ever posted anything that isn't drivel, you blathering infant?
  6. Well, let's just wait and see shall we?

Would be the gift that keeps on giving for you.
  8. Nothing to do with "mentality" and everything to do with a very basic understanding of the lead times required for this kind of thing. There was about four or five weeks between the decision and the cup final, nowhere near enough time to get the volume of kits produced, shipped and sold before the final. Pretty sure this has been explained to you before.
  9. G-list celeb/comedian Rufus Hound on Twitter suggesting the attack was an inside job because a) she used to be home secretary b) Tories have had a bad week in the polls and this would be just the ticket c) the establishment are, like, evil and d) you know, Nazis. Utter helmet.
  10. Yeah yeah we get it. You don't support, endorse, or encourage or have any interest whatsoever in our stadium being developed expanded or changed. You just happen to start multiple threads about it and ramble on about Wolves expansion and Reading expansion and Leicester expansion and what about Chelsea in 1983 and just imagine how many tickets we'd sell if we were challenging at the top of the league and in cup finals etc etc. But you're not bothered.
  11. The thread that he created is barely an hour old and he's already distancing himself from it. At least the last one took several months before the disowning began. Great stuff.
  12. This is the kind of development we need to compete with the likes of Wolverhampton Wanderers. They're getting a 50,000 seater stadium you know.
  13. Because he would be a dreadful appointment.

It won't matter if next season Burnley and Watford are more entertaining than Sammy Davis Jnr, we'll still be on TV far more than them.

Ralph told them both to get in there and sack Puel quickly. That was 8:30 Monday morning. It's now been them sat there for two days, six coffee breaks, two lunches and still nothing.
  16. WHY DO WE ALWAYS LEAVE IT SO LATE TO DO OUR TRANSFER BUSINESS FFS!!!
  17. I should have run a sweepstake on the first person to complain about how "protracted" it is. I don't think I would have guessed 2pm on Tuesday though, one and a half whole working days. Jesus wept.
  18. Keep away from those sharp objects, yeah?
  19. It's not really about policies, it's about Corbyn being utterly inept. He can't run a press office, he's got no hope of running a government. He's never run anything. The policies are barely discernable from Miliband's manifesto but that apparently was just like voting Tory, weren't it, tho? Just remember your years of "Red Tory" snide guff on here and bear that in mind when you remember which Labour leader results in delivering the biggest Conservative majority in generations. This election could have been a Labour triumph. It won't be. "Fu ck off to the Tories then" they said with their little placards and comedy t-shirts. Guess what, they effing well will. Well done. Try owning it instead of grizzling about the media. But them rallies were good weren't they?
  20. Except, of course, he quit Feyenoord because he was fully expecting a job at a half-decent club, and he got one. You can spin what you like but he was a high profile name with experience in multiple leagues and success to his name before he arrived at SMS. Comparing him to Bob Bradley or Tony Adams is ridiculous. Well done though.
  21. He clearly wasn't an "absolute failure". Ridiculous.
  22. Being elected MP for Islington North is not evidence of being electable - Jeffrey Dahmer in a red rosette would walk Islington North. And neither does his victories in the Labour leadership elections. As we will soon see, the Labour membership is not the population. If Labour had anything remotely resembling a competent or electable leader (two different things, Corbyn is neither) then May wouldn't have called the election. Enjoy the two weeks from polling day bounce, it will soon pass. The great tragedy here is this is an election Labour could have won, the Tory record is weak and their top team really isn't special, and they've made a dog's dinner of an open goal election so far. I won't forgive Corbyn and the idiots that surround him for destroying Labour as an electoral force for a decade.

The acid test next year will be if we finish on 50 points but finish tenth. Will that be "we're going backwards FFS we're going backwards" or not?
  24. 2001 has asked for its thread back.
  25. None of the players you've named are "Championship standard". Even the weakest player in your list - Rodriguez - was subject to £10m plus interest from other Prem clubs in the summer and in January.
