  1. By this time last season Mane had scored 3 league goals, actually his entire tally this side of Christmas. Redmond has also scored 3 league goals so doesn't actually have to bother scoring before New Years Day to match Mane exactly. In fact Mane didn't score again until March, so Nathan has got four months off. Pelle had scored a dazzling six by remembrance Sunday, more than Austin on his pathetic five league goals. Pelle scored the breathtaking tally of 11 league goals last season which is clearly the kind of superhuman goalscoring only Jermaine Defoe could replace.
  2. And you do know everything? Pelle was obviously leaving in the summer back in January, Austin was the replacement. It's pretty simple.
  3. Jeremy Wilson is better connected than you and he said that's exactly what the club did, and it was painfully obvious that Pelle was going in the summer back in January 2016. So the only myth maker here is, well, you.
  4. Boris and Pence have already had a phone conversation. I think the administration of the United States of America and the UK Government can cobble something together between them without needing Nigel Farage's help.
  5. Or, ninth in the queue.
  6. Because that would be the most tinpot thing this club could ever do. Let the kids keep having their kickabouts, it's nice experience for them and when they go out, they go out. If our kids make it to Wembley it would be highly amusing, especially compared to that shower down the road. But let's not get carried away.
  7. Indeed. There would have been a proportion of the electorate that voted against Hillary rather than for Trump. Clinton clearly was despised and mistrusted by huge numbers and has no real charisma but still secured the popular vote "victory" vs Trump. Take away the anti-establishment Hillary-hate out of the equation and replace with a half competent, engaging Democrat and it would have been a lot closer. But I don't mean Sanders who would have been smashed as a raging Commie despite being about as left-wing as Alan Milburn.
  8. What's the weather like in Thornhill today?
  9. It was obvious all along that we would never let him just see out that last year. Was never going to happen and it didn't.
  10. Clubcall, you say?
  11. Good luck to him. The competition is still meaningless for us, insulting to L1 and L2 clubs and a general clusterf*** for all concerned.
  12. Nostradamus saw this coming.
  13. Facebook dinlows.
  14. Indeed.
  15. No it isn't and no they won't. It's a youth team match. Happy to help.
  16. I think we've got one and he's called Charlie Austin. 5 in 10 in the Premier League suggests he's on track to surpass Pelle and Mane from last season, potentially ending up with more than the pair of them put together. It's the rest of the front line we have issues with but we clearly have someone who "knows where the goal is".
  17. No, he isn't. Obviously he isn't.
  18. In fairness those people were talking about us playing with a stronger first eleven vs Milan. We played a rotated side and still won, which was great. But the rotated back first eleven should have given a better account of themselves yesterday being that half of them didn't play on Thursday. Peul prioritised the game we lost. Not really sure where you're seeing a contradiction because there isn't one.
  19. There'll be a PhD in it in a few years.
  20. Quite heartening that despite how dreadful/no plan B/no investment/no ambition/etc/etc we are, we still sit higher in the table than not one, not two, not three but four of the "Oh why can't we be like them" clubs, the ones whose drive and ambition put us in the shade. (Stoke, WHU, Leicester, Palace). Of course it won't be long if they keep going that the forum intelligentsia will be saying "actually no, it's Watford who we should be like, I've always said that honest I have".
  21. Two of those three plus Austin in any given game, I'd assume. Redmond in the most need of place-threatening pressure. I missed that.
  22. It's disappointing that we still don't seem to be able to start with Boufal, the man signed to bring penetration/creativity in a game that should be perfect for him. It's November FFS, and if it's fit enough to come off the bench then he must be fit enough to start.
  23. Party time for the dinlows.
  24. Sensible.
