How many first goals did he score then? He was good but I'm pretty sure he wasn't good enough to score more than one.

We're second favourites but it's hardly beyond the realms of possibility that we could beat them in a cup tie. -

It comes and goes.

Three more weeks resting and his eye would have been full strength.

Saintlee was an inside man on the Paul Allen (or some other unspecified billionaire) thing. Via PM he invited me to meet the "representatives" of the takeover once. I think he was genuine but got proper taken in.

May knows that the Scots, however bad it gets, won't vote to join the Euro, which is fundamentally what an Indy Ref2 will be about, because Scotland definitely won't be allowed to join independently without accepting the currency. The No campaign just need to put €€€ and pictures of Greece all over their posters and they will walk it.

After you've just eaten six Cadbury's Flake bars in half an hour, do you feel a little bit dirty?

It's not luck to have a cursory glance of the information available and then act accordingly. The idea that Milan was going to be at some kind of standstill was laughable and I will laugh at people who thought that could have been the case based on info/non-info available the week before, the day before and on the day. It's always nice sport to mock you and I look forward to the next opportunity. Don't leave it too long.

It was you that attempted a load of made up numbers on Marmite as well wasn't it? Seriously, give it up.

Yet another example of them never, ever doing that then.

In my little world today we got the underground to the stadium for a tour, then the underground to the canal area, then the underground to the centre of town and now I'm sat on the 1757 train to the airport. But that's my little world. In your world all transportation was cancelled because some gimp cab driver told you yesterday. Your world definitely wins.

This all you were ever going to get from an away following that big and spread out. 750 - 1,500 keeno away fans will always make more noise.

We could have done with Will Grigg or Cameron Jerome or Glenn Murray at the San Siro last night what with their ability to score some goals in the Championship. If we hadn't have loaned Sam out, he'd likely have played a few minutes here and there in the League Cup, therefore wouldn't have been any use to us last night. Let him get on with his season which as it stands might just result in him proving he is at least a second tier striker. We can then go from there.

Not sure he could have done much from where he was positioned.
