"I really have a problem with negroes and I just don't know why". #peoplesarmy

I'm with you. Whether our UKIP supporting idiot Lordship likes it or not, this is true. The LDs will get hammered on polling day because they were involved in coalition regardless of what they've actually done. In time history will judge them quite kindly for those policies you mention which were their initiatives after all.

Inside Number 9 about to start. Will have to catch up with Paxo's demolition of Ed later.

Kay Burley is dreadful.
-
I'm basing it on a tweet from David Conn who usually is on the money about these things. I have no idea if he's right on this but I'd back him to be.

A lot of that is parachute payments though.

What I like about you Lord D is you have absolutely no time whatsoever for people whose entire schtick is how anti-establishment they are when they are clearly, completely and unequivocally part of the establishment. You hate those people, don't you?

He was also a pretty niche C4 celeb at the time, with nothing like the profile of Clarkson now. So I find it unlikely Clary will make any strong connection between his circumstance 22 years ago and Clarkson's.

The successful author, large venue filling stand up, prime time TV show presenting, Radio 4/QI panel show stalwart, Strictly contestant Julian Clary? That Julian Clary? I think he may possibly have recovered from that incident more than 20 years ago. I can't actually remember him be sacked from anything at the time anyway.
-
Do you have any examples of this?

If it was a terrorist act then a terrorist group would have claimed responsibility by now. That's kinda the point of terrorism.

You wait until we have a green away kit to celebrate our partnership with MLS giants the Oregon Cowpokes. We'll be massive then, massive.

Apparently Roy describes Betrand as a "League One left back". He just doesn't rate him. Weird, huh?

15th feels about right to me for us. On the list I'd say WBA and Blackburn are too high, with Forest and Wednesday under-called.

In fairness I am not sure what you expect people to put on a thread about a plane crash, especially as it doesn't really have any strong link to the UK. All forum threads are meaningless, one about a plane crash isn't really any less meaningless. Let's remember football is not as important as people dying either and there are loads of posts about that on here.

Loving the suggestion of Guy Martin as a new presenter. Would be pretty perfect - his BBC and C4 shows have been excellent. And unlike, say, Chris Evans he would have genuine credibility. A non racist, non-xenophobic non - public schoolboy bullying reactionary Top Gear? Gosh.
-
This is all well and good but you seem to have overlooked the fact that some people said that man would never walk on the moon.
-
So if you couldn't go to those games anyway, not sure what point you were making in that original post.
-
Agreed. That one was worse than slavery.
-
Not sure if you've put this just to wind up/confuse Redslo. If yes, well done. If no, the inflatable bananas were never racist, they were a celebrated phenomenon, the kind of thing Saint and Greavsie would go on about every week.

Try telling that to our friend further up the thread who had to settle for Burnley tickets when he wanted to see the Chelsea match instead. Making it easy to pick and choose just the big matches could easily deflate season ticket sales and attendances for lower grade prem matches. Over supply is not the same as actual demand. And anyway, your point is not the point - it's whether that supposed increase in tickets sold more than covers the investment needed. The club clearly see, right now, it don't. Boring but true.
-
Okay. We don't need a bigger stadium, we can't sell out the current one.
-
I'm not putting down the USA. Just you.
-
In the same way one very bald man can justify buying a comb more than another very very bald man.
-
Just imagine how much demand for tickets they'll be if the team were doing well and challenging near the top of the league. Do we still need to imagine that scenario, MLG? ## sits back and waits for MLG to pretend he never said such a thing ##
