  1. The most useful thing about your self help book is that it is basically a list of everything you do.
  2. Out comes the self help book! Where's the section called Press the gay button. Witlessly accuse those who disagree of being homosexuals.
  3. USS Liberty is you using an unproven conspiracy as proof for another unproven conspiracy. Go you. Strawman. And pretty sure there is a sub section on your little self help list that covers off your p iss weak character attack on two people you ain't never met (or have met each other). I imagine if I did that to you you you'd have a little quote for me all ready to go. You are pretty good at the woe is me dying swan act, but funny how plain nasty you can be, ain't it?
  4. Yes but USS Liberty is proof enough that it definitely all happened. Complete solution, case closed.
  5. Great evidence and in no way strawman. Well done, you.
  6. Didn't realise forum contributors got to be on the managerial appointment committee. Can I join?
  7. I say march on the stadium. Burn some effing Toblerone.
  8. I was with you until you threw in the Wenger/Graham fallacy. Wenger's invincible team had no relation to GG's famous back four Other than that, bang on.
  9. Gross unfairness.
  10. Oh, he's on fire. It's all your Christmases come at once, ain't it Alpine? I think we're due a snidey comment about their only priority being bringing stripes back. In your own time.
  11. Not as hot as we are now, TDD. But you are right about Cortese - three out three excellent managers is unnaturally good. Law of averages suggests we are due a pants one. Let's hope it ain't so.
  12. Funnier than you, sunshine. Do "all fart and no sh it" again. What wit.
  13. Alpine is absolutely loving this right now, as his snidey little comment to season ticket holders showed earlier. He moaned like an old slag during the glory years, so this kind of stuff is meat and drink to the lad. Not really sure why he is coming out with this "I hate us being tinpot" stuff - from January to May last season all we had on here was Alpine lecturing us about how gutless and pathetic Saints (manager: M Pochettino) were and how Wigan were showing us up and had the balls/guts/gumption to stay up while we were definitely, gutlessly going down. Alpine fawning over Wigan, possibly the single most tin pot team ever in the top flight. And, need we add, his celebration of us winning the Johnstones effing Paint trophy as being part of the "unrivalled success" in our entire history. A literal tin fu cking pot. As far as commentators go on this forum, there ain't none much more tinpot than our Alpine.
  14. I like his cover story of being a long term lurker who has quit the Ugly forum and come over here because Glasgow is now over there. Cute. Probably better than your Camden one in fairness.
  15. What proper grown up kit did we have? We spent last season in a strip any Sunday league team in the country could get hold of.
  16. We all thought it was crystal clear we all did.
  17. If you say so.
  18. I know pretty much nothing about him but Tuchel for me. Would feel like a coup for me. Plus him and RK can speak German - NO TRANSLATOR NEEDED.
  19. Who are you talking about or to?
  20. Quite. Shaw is clearly brilliant anyway, but would the other three developed on in the way they have? Not sure. That said Nige seemed to get a lot out of Jack Cork, so who knows we could have had five in....
  21. The fling was worth it in that we improved immeasurably, although Poch was fortunate to inherit a good squad who improved under him. That said I think we would have stayed up and still improved under Adkins, just not as spectacularly. We'd have been a more attractive version of Stoke - middling about 10th-14th - free scoring and free conceding. The likes of Spurs would not be interested in our manager, of course. With Nigel we'd have a medium level manager for the long term - good enough for us but not good enough that anyone else would want them - a Pulis, basically, just minus the awful football. My worry is our current management team might see an appointment of Adkins now as a nice little popular move. Not sure it would be, and I definitely think it would be a bad move for the team. Time to move forward under an exciting new era managed by Malkay McKay.
  22. I love a bit of Delldays revisionism.
  23. I don't think we should be recruiting our next manager from the Munch Bunch.
