  1. Div Saints fans give a Tatooed, dreadlocked freak the best Christmas present he could ever hope for. He'd absolutely love the fact there's a new song dedicated to him. Well done chaps πŸ‘ πŸ‘ πŸ‘ πŸ‘
  2. Jesus wept.
  3. WBA are ten points behind Ipswich. Talk about recency bias. Next week Leeds will win 3-0 and WBA will draw and it will all be about Leeds again.
  4. If West Brom's manager was called Carl Carrington all their fans would hate him or something.
  5. You might want to look at Leeds fans on Twitter, sweetheart.
  6. Christ knows why we keep getting variations of this old shit. Just fucking nonsense.
  7. Happy with that team. Strong bench. Let's get to third, Saints
  8. Let's not be too hasty.

I hope not too many people share your small minded view. Because if they do I have wasted a heck of a lot of money on 10,000 triple club scarfs that I was planning to sell outside St Mary’s on match days before Christmas

The "ho ho ho, SOG is just winding you up for a big old giggle ho ho ho you fell for it" brigade will be along any minute.
  12. Forest signed Dean Henderson at the same time last season and he was and is better. He got injured and they covered him with a keeper who was also better. Let's not try and pretend that Bazunu was the only option we had for a goalkeeper. We didn't need a "magic goalkeeper" we needed one ready for life in the Premier League bottom six. Regardless of what happens now, or in the future, he wasn't. Him being better now doesn't change the past. He's doing better now, at a lower level. We all want that to continue, so spare us your hand-wringing sanctimonious super duper fan act.

I think the only attempt at a "wind up" going on is this slightly misguided routine. I'm not sure that pretending the SOG doesn't really mean any of the stuff he writes, he's just making it all up to get a bite from particular posters, is the slam dunk win you think it is lads. If you come out at say that to SOG in a single sentence - come off it, you don't really think that - you're very likely to get a 500 word lecture in return, probably mentioning Tommy Robinson. The sheer effort to churn out the verbiage/horseshit he comes out with makes it impossible for him to be the master puppet maker some are desperate for him to be. The supposed "wound up" half of the bargain are applying a tenth of the effort in contrast. It's a cute little idea, but doesn't really hold up.
  15. No easy games at this level.
  16. The only thing I am absolutely sure of is that Everton won't get relegated this season.
  17. We've already got a deal in principle with Harwood-Bellis. If we go up it's a permanent deal. Flynn Downes wait and see. If we go up he might stay, but he's a WHU fan, so likely he goes back unless he is told he's not part of any plans there. Let's not kid ourselves that there is something a "committee" or anyone can do that is going to get these two players to no-questions-asked commit to us long term in January. Why should they or their agents do that? If we don't go up expect both to leave. This is why we need promotion, and not treat the season as "ooh look haven't we done jolly well to be fourth".

Apparently Hamas and Israel have heard about the SNP Ceasefire motion in the House of Commons and agreed to stop fighting. The war is all over. Great news πŸ‘ πŸ‘ πŸ™Œ πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  20. Just to recap, you get to ask people for "sources" and then when it's there in black and white pretend it doesn't say what it says. And you get to just make shit up. Clear.
  21. Inflation goes up: not our fault, external factors, global economy Inflation comes down: haven't we done a brilliant job
  22. The quote doesn't say that at all. "the first port of call was to get the manager that plays and thinks the same way as me" What that says is Wilcox is the guy that gets the manager and he got one that thinks like he does. No point you asking for "sources" if all you're going to do is pretend they mean something else.
  23. Yes, and Leeds had chaos and crisis and players on strike and Ipswich were League One last year.
  24. It's all good at the moment but let's remember he's got us to fourth place after about a third of the season. We are below both of the other two relegated clubs, with all three managers being in their jobs for around the same amount of time. So his performance is, at best, on par for the resources and reasonable expectation. We should have never lost four in a row and our goals against is still appalling. Looking forward to even more improvement in the remaining two thirds πŸ‘πŸ‘
  25. Only listened to it as I was painting a shed (true story). We sounded great first half snd under the cosh second. But proper steel and winning mentality again to turn what could have been a collapse into another win. Sounded great to get Stewart on the pitch. A brilliant turnaround since September, well done Martin and the team.
