That sounds more like winner stays on at the pub snooker table. The new parliament is formed by the seats won, there's no "ruling party" because parliament is dissolved before the election. Except going on about seven out of nine points is a straw man argument. What about 7 points from an available 21? That's a winning formula is it? 7 points from 7 games is not going to even get you in the play offs. What about the our negative goal difference and dreadful goals against, is that a winning formula? What about one of the most expensive/lavish squads in the league and not even scraping top six 11 games in? Is that a winning formula? Spare us the holier than thou act. The management/ownership of this club talked about promotion this season, and their dreadful managerial appointment has made that vastly more unlikely than it should be. Failure deserves to be called out, not just be covered up by people who want to spin doctor an alternative reality.

A sport where you can smash into each other to knock the other guy clean over and that's all fine, but if the ball is slightly nudged forward by an arm that's a penalty. Also the penalties seem to happen about ten minutes after the thing that the penalty was for happened. And then they just kick it out of play.
