Our squad is obviously good and against weaker teams we will just win regardless of selection or tactics. Rotherham won't have a bench where they can bring on Armstrong and Alcaraz etc etc. So we're into winning in spite of the manager not because of him. Swansea last two seasons = 68 and 64 goals against. Currently we are on track for 122 goals against.
-
We haven't "sold the lot", though.
-
He's not going to be sacked. Yet. Bare minimum he has the next four taking him to Stoke in October. Home vs Rotherham immediately after that is a lovely piece of piss first game for a new manager/caretaker.
-
No one else gives a toss. Arsenal and West Brom and Middlesbrough and Cardiff and Blackpool and Port Vale and Wycombe fans are not thinking about us, at all.
-
I like the fact that he doggedly sticks to his principles of shipping at least four goals in every fucking match
-
Russell Martin really really needs this to stay at "just" 4.
-
They are better than us by some distance.
-
But the manager said they had analysed the Sunderland match and learned lessons. They analysed it for fucks sake. They analysed it.

-
Well, feels pretty certain this will be the third game this season where we concede 4. Unacceptable with our squad and wage bill etc.
-
Still winning the possession war, lads. 56%.
-
Bazunu possibly our most effective playmaker.
-
Plenty of time for a late run to the play offs under a new manager in February.
-
This is not a team finishing top two.

Greatest era in our history
-
Decent from Adams. But however many we score, Leicester will score twice that.
-
Radio Solent just said "you're listening to Saints vs Leicester in the Premier League" 😪
-
Looks a bit flimsy, especially in front of a centre back pairing who have never played together.
-
It's going to be a straightforward win.
-
If anyone is trying to look it up its Xeka and it's TeamTalk and a random list of about 27 clubs that might be "interested".
-
Apparently according to what or who?
-
Last season, if we had Bazunu in goal but all of the Manchester City outfield players in front of him, I reckon we probably would have stayed up.
-
We were never going to get a free agent keeper. Doesn't matter if it was bloody Kasper Schmeichel or reanimated Gordon Banks it was never, ever going to happen.
-
So, after Martin's very passionate defence of Bazunu and a very clear message from the club that we had our Number One, and absolutely no activity to buy or loan a first choice keeper at all, you still thought that what the club were actually planning was to wait until the window closed and then panic recruit some freebie? You thought that was remotely plausible? Honestly there is no helping some people. Jesus wept.

The puppet master is winding us all up again. Masterful how he does it in only several long paragraphs.
