Make sure you mention our eleven cup semi finals. That in no way makes us sound small fry, no-mark and tin-pot. Good morning MLG.
-
There was tons of stuff in the press anout Jay-Rod. What are you on about? Lovren was quicker but hardly out of the blue.
-
So just to confirm, now downgraded to simply your opinion, rather than "Cardiff have the same idea as us" and this all being some club masterplan. Nothing the club have done or said has suggested we are making specific or concerted inroads into that market, and the club have never said our kit is part of that. A very, very stark contrast to Cardiff. I would also like to take this opportunity to wish the lads well on their pre season tours of Spain and Austria.
-
Yes, with white all around it.
-
The Real Madrid reds have 300million fans in Aisa, apparently.
-
Yes. It's red and white.
-
Cardiff have very specific and well explained ideas. Hated, but well explained. I must have missed Cortese's "we're targeting the Aisa market with this kit" explanation. Do pop it up if you can find it. Thanks for proving my point on Chelsea.
-
......and not forgetting we signed Tadanari Lee and Yoshida from Japan where all football kits must be red red red red red red. The Japan national football team do wear one of those funny shades of red though, I must say.
-
So you've swallowed the "be red to be big in Aisa" horseplop, then? Right-ho. Meanwhile, in other news, the reds of Chelsea and Manchester City are well placed to win the Premier League and/or the Champions League next season. With not one single fan in the entirity of Aisa. Not one.

Seriously, pretty much all our major transfers in the last few years have been all over the media.
-
.....which means what in the context of a football shirt design?
-
Where's the blood, Bazza?
-
...only total farking idiots take this forum as gospel. Hello Brett.
-
Season ticket holders aren't representative either. I'd say this forum is more representative off all Saints fans than them.
-
I have to say that leaked kit is by far the most exciting and revolutionary item of clothing I have ever seen. Well done Saints on not doing dull stripes.
-
I think they could have talked about Star Wars a tad more in that one.
-
Nice to see this forum has at least three cool kids.
-
Le Tiss on twitter suggesting it is Arse away too, or at least saying that's what he heard. Way back when I "worked in the media" (hello local daily in Gloucester) we would get the fixtures the day before, the embargo just prevented publication, it didn't prevent the sports dept and the likes of me eyeballing them. Were I on SWF back then, they'd have been straight on. These days will be slightly different but not a surprise if some opening/key fixtures squeak out before the deadline.
-
So do we want to start by playing Man City, Chelsea and Liverpool? Or West Brom, West Ham and Sunderland? Which ones will give us the most momentum? (Or is it really not that important)
-
Wasn't he cleared of that? You kinda stop saying he "allegedly" did stuff after that point.
-
Who and where and when. And you are making claims against the entire "broadcast" and "written" press so there must be literally hundreds you can find. Or, you're just lazily making stuff up.
-
If we have stripes we look like Saints. That's it. The "isn't it awful we look like like Stoke" routine is peddled almost exclusively by DellBatBrettmandays.
-
Winner. Christer Warren. I was living in Cheltenham at the time, which is why he sticks in my memory. Him going to Saints was big news - CTFC still non league then.
-
Yes, but very little. Did have something resembling a career on the South Coast though.
-
No. Thought someone would say him. I think he came from Kings Lynn.
