What he said x2 ^

Of course for most other clubs, though not all, the chairman is the owner, or at least one of the owners. Hence they rarely get fired or move on. For us we have three important parties, rather than two: Owners / funders Chairman Manager No quibble from me that NC had done a great job and I would like him to stay. A change of chairman now would be a disruption. But not a disaster - of the above list of three, he is the least important IMO. Not saying its an easy role, nor unimportant. But nonetheless, its the least important of the three

I dont know about NC looking on behalf of another client, that may be so although he did not represent anyone other than ML in negotiations. But ML asked him to make contact, for sure
-
He was asked by Marcus to make contact. Not the other way around. Marcus wanted to buy us and would have asked his lawyer or AN other, had NC not been around

Yep was there for that one. Much worse. It was a bank holiday Monday and Weds had the league cup final the following weekend and so left out most of the normal starting 11, including Chris Waddle and Woods, the england keeper. Wow, we said when seeing the team sheet, we can win this! Terrible performance, horrible defeat, followed by Sheffield Radio on the coach home constantly referring to "Wednesday reserves". Right up there for this thread

Remember him scoring for Chelski against the skates and then going mental in front of the skates fans. Top lad, all else forgiven
-
Was there too. 1994 a vintage year for these games!

Pompey away. Alan Knight's testimonial 1994. Not sure which was more mad, the game (won 5-1) - bizarre match and never, ever, a testimonial - or the trip out of the ground afterwards

Villas-Boas "what a wonderful team Pochettino is building"
Bucks Saint replied to positivepete's topic in The Saints
What he did not say: "Going to bid for at least 6 of their players in July, so need to set up the groundwork for our fans before our mega £150m bid package" -
Think most people would have said that in August

I know what you are saying but Arsenal have it all to play for and their form at home in the last 4 months means...a home win

We will beat Sunderland and Stoke will not matter. Simples

You havent so why should anyone else

Tried that, including on SWF both before the season started and before matches. No takers but then I do have one adult and one teen ticket. Brother takes them instead (for free, he is skint) but its too much cash for me to feel good about my charity...

Its going to be close. Toss in one more midweek match or one that i cant do for my own reasons, and thats me not renewing. Awaiting prices with interest
-
Thanks, yes I was aware, but even if its only two it would 2/19ths of cash wasted x 2 tickets
-
I want a weekend games only, non midweek kick off, ST please. Not living or working locally, and coordinating my son's attendance - who lives further away - with my ex wife is a pain in the butt. Thanks NC, I am obliged.
