  1. Cutting edge. Its not like they have any of our email address and so they could not simply send a web link (and keep prices lower, ho ho)
  2. Done. Keep going and you will get there, good luck
  3. Palace - a favourite, despite the shabby old stand and facilities! Cardiff i think, new ground and nightlife again. Hull, nope, been to the "city" and never again thanks. Otherwise, Villa as usual, Spurs, Everton and Norwich maybe and Fulham because i need to tick that one off
  4. Er, on the OS web and a massive thread on here, and on the Daily Echo, and emails to current holders. So, yes
  5. Yes thanks for the constructive thoughts
  6. Mayuka may yet come good. I know he is young and new to this league etc. But IMO from what I have seen so far, admittedly not much game time, he continues to give the impression of a modern Nicky Banger
  7. No suggestion at all. A question, without any thought
  8. So get in touch with the OP and make your suggestion, like any normal person would do, and indeed some have already
  9. You can make any agreement you like. I was merely suggesting that its not that difficult to come up with a workable arrangement. One person can take league cup, one FA cup, before the season starts, but thats just one example. Could alternate and take your chances on which round we get to. And so on
  10. Sigh, I got these sort of negative replies when I offered a similar share last summer. All games can be split by agreement, including splitting "big" games. Cups could easily be split - 1 league, 1 FA. Nothing is insurmountable and if the person interested is not happy with anything, there will be no deal!
  11. Bent on a free? For real? Thats some write off then. Would be well worth a look IMHO
  12. swapping her for tickets? thats a step further than I would have gone (before the divorce at least)
  13. Yep, am sometimes in the same boat, though I have two seats if my lad cant make it. Oh for the Barca model where the club resells spare season tickets online and then splits the proceeds with the seat holder
  14. Thats cleared that up then
  15. I am sure they could. Seeing as Barca are the model to aspire to on the pitch, we could do worse than follow their example off it with spare season tickets. They offer a detailed online resale option, after all "normal" tickets are sold, when season ticket holders who cant make the game release their seats back a week or so beforehand. The club keeps some of the sale proceeds, for sorting out the sale / ticket collection, and the original season ticket holder gets the rest. Result all around
  16. Interesting that there a couple of mentions of this situation already. Last summer, when I posted a few times seeking someone who might be keen to share tickets for games I could not make, the only replies I got where of the sceptical variety (who holds the tickets / how will you get them back / how can you decide who goes to which game? etc). No takers though. I have given my seats away a few times this season. Going to have think carefully about renewing
  17. More of our fans sang the Cortese song yesterday, which just gets more and more cringeworthy, so NC can safely ignore the Mail et al, as its seems to be mission accomplished where it counts
  18. Yep said the same today. Top consistent player. Well done Clyne
  19. Customer service staff have been giving NC's boots an extra special polish, sorry
  20. You cant sell the seat, you dont own it. Rent it maybe
  21. I will say Hi and chat with him about last night on Xbox live, like I usually do
  22. Well he was on loan, without any loan fee that is more common these days, so he was a flaming bargain for arguably the best quality player in years. Certainly not seen any better signings since
  23. Your point was that he was not a success. He was utter class for us without doubt. Signed on loan because Alan Ball got speaking to his old mate Cruyff, and Barca were hampered by the then rules about no more than 3 foreigners in your team, and Ekelund was 4th or 5th choice. I remember the irony of our manager having a chat with his mate Cruyff and then Barca loaned us someone who was mustard, to help us out, all just a few months after Ian Branfoot had been in charge.... MLT described Ekelund as the best team mate he had ever played with. He was completely on Le Tiss' wavelength
  24. I was with you until the Ekelund point. MLT has a different view. Me too
