Maybe, just maybe, the extra CB signing has helped to improve / motivate Jos further, i.e. he was in danger of becoming 4th choice and thus hardly making the squad, never mind the pitch. Ok as its turned out this was a threat more for next season, but hey, what do we care if having 4 potential first team CBs has helped raise the standard overall?

His foot was never above knee height, he got the ball well before any connection with the stuttering keeper, only caught his legs and then Federici was caught by his own defender. Surprised that you managed to miss all that. If he had done a Boruc (i.e. make a decent attempt to get to the ball first) he might have been injured, so that makes it a dangerous tackle? Wow. If Jay Rod had thrown himself into a diving header, he might have been hurt, so the keeper should have been sent off, right?

I was in the home section of the south stand, towards the corner. There were about 8 saints fans in a corporate section nearby who openly and passionately celebrated both our goals, and no one seemed to be bothered, notwithstanding there were non-corporate fans all around them (though as i posted before, it was hard to tell if most of the home fans near me were even awake) Fair play to them too!
